ОтветитьAs an ex Integra (DA5) and RSX (DC5) owner I must say this car is not for the youngsters. He's correct in saying it's for the grownups. This car isn't cheap and is very expensive for a 4 door sedan. I must say I'd have to pass over on this car especially since it's not available in a 2 door model. It's really for the generation of owners who have grown up, got married, and have kids. I think the youngsters are better off getting a DC2/DC5 or a gen 1 if they can find it. Those are the better, cheaper models for the youngsters.

ОтветитьI can confirm that brake hold is fantastic for new drivers...all integra and civic's have it in manual mode and new drivers can set it at a stoplight, engade only the clutch and gas, and press the button when they feel the motor and transmission engage. perfect trainer button

Love the detail in showing the details in the engine bay and suspension, very necessary for the people like me that like fixing your own car.
This Acura type S is not meant for the average late teen or young adult. It was build for guy who once owned this in the mid 90s and who happen to settled down and kids are either in colllege with a few dollars to remake their younger days on the road. I will be glad to start putting up some money aside for the next couples of uears years so I can get this blue type S and go back to memory lane with my girl/wife. So glad Acura bough this back for guys in the 50s.

ОтветитьYeah cuz you know you can't just remove an RSX badge and put an Integra badge on a car or anything. Come on guys it's a gimmick, it's just like when Dodge called the next generation of neon the dart, it's a Dodge neon 100% they just put a different name badge on it. If I ever had one I'd put a neon badge on it straight up

A mechanic’s point of view is priceless when it comes to how manufacturers design their vehicles and how future owners know what to expect.
Especially drivers like me who couldn’t even do a simple oil change 😂.
As much as I think this car is cool and I'm happy to see the Integra return, my Tesla has better performance, no belts, oil pans, turbos, and fewer moving parts. I don't think I could go back.

ОтветитьI abhor those crackles/burbles. They sound like a wet fart. Would definitely be programming that out, if possible. Otherwise this is off the list for that one thing.

ОтветитьI have money down for a spring delivery in 2025! I'm in Canada and we can't place orders until January for the Integra Type S (delivery by March or April). The dealer said we're about four to six months behind the States to receive this car specifically.
Still, I'm very much looking forward to making this my daily drive!!

ОтветитьThe regular integra was good, but outdated as of 2024. Gets poor gas mileage, low power, missing features like seat ventilation, no rear vents. No hybrid option(usually quieter)

ОтветитьActual hood vent like an actual Mitsubishi Evolution from 22 years ago. Only thing this car needs is a rear diff and aluminum rear subframe/ suspension to be the EVO11+. Integra S is dyno'ing 20whp/30wtq more than CTR w better tuning, no front downpipe resonator. US Integra engine program got more love than the Japanese Civic that only offers a 'too stiff' bouncy track setting w same shocks. ONLY thing ITR is lacking is real Recaros up front (and some RWD)

Why waste money on the Acura when you could get the CTR?
If you trying to save money and go faster, get a DCT Elantra N.
I would get a GTI or a GLI and save myself $15K.
