Everyone is so stuck on the gold to silver ratio. I don’t understand why. Silver doesn’t have to be correlated with gold.
I will never give a shat about how much silver is needed to be worth an ounce of gold. Whoever keeps playing the gold to silver ratio is really playing themselves. It’s goin to get wider.

In the United States, 1986 Reagan recognized that pensions were going and Americans needed multiple safe retirement other than 401ks and SSI. Gold literally is that other income. When stock buying gets low, the Mint makes more to the buyers for retirement accounts. They have to cover demand even if the public is dumb.

This video sparked my curiosity on how does the US Mint actually determine their production rates? I assumed they adjust production based upon orders from their approved vendors, but a quick search did not produce any direct info to confirm if that is the case.

I think we are going to flatten out for the first half of 2025 on both gold and silver

In the UK the only product worth buying is the 1oz Gold Britannia. Silver is not an investment/store of wealth in the UK - we pay 20% VAT+ Premiums. Silver would have to increase in price by 30% just to break even. I have 2 X 1kg Royal Mint Silver Cast Bars from my inexperienced early days I use as paper weights to remind me to employ common sense.

For me 2024 was a good year added some to the stack and look like a hero to the misses since I talked her into gold over jewelry as an “investment” a couple years ago, so gold’s growth has has shown to be a pretty good place to park our money

I will plan to add on slowly now but 2024 was a lot of patting myself on the back for hauling ass to accumulate since 2021 when the rate hike cycle began and prices were way down. I really enjoy your in-depth work on this channel, would you consider doing several videos on an estimated good amount of silver/gold to stack for retirement and I know everyone’s retirement amounts are gonna be different but maybe use a couple of different incomes like 40,000 or 50,000 and maybe even with no debt or a little bit of debt and calculate maybe how much Silver you would need to cash in each month to go with your retirement amount just something interesting like that
