Today, I am here with Doug Perry from CrossCountry Mortgage, and we are going to discuss MassHousing and its down payment assistance for Massachusetts home buyers. MassHousing is a quasi-public agency designed to promote affordable housing in Massachusetts.

Several loan programs provide down payment assistance for low to moderate-income borrowers.

I see the MassHousing Programs as a big opportunity for Massachusetts first-time homebuyers to get into the market.

Down payment assistance involves a lot, and Doug will cover some of the basics in our interview.
