God, he was swinging so well
ОтветитьDalys wedge game was always way underrated
ОтветитьTonya Harding and John Daly should have had a child
ОтветитьA birdie says that a movie is in the works.
ОтветитьCommentator said that, for most players, a 6-iron would be needed for a 151-yard shot. That was in 1991. Today (2024), pros hit 6-irons about 190 to 205. No wonder golf courses are being overpowered.
ОтветитьJohn went from an unknown to a megastar in one weekend.
ОтветитьJohn played a lot of courses in mine and his hometown of mph tn. One of my buddies hit a 294 yrd drive. He jokingly said John beat that. John took out his 4 iron and hit it 315.
ОтветитьShows you what MULLET POWER could do back then😂😂😂😂. JD rocks.
Ответитьthe most under-rated hands in golf
Ответитьwow... dude was all over the place... but he always seemed to bring it back and he putt decently.
ОтветитьBest Golfer ever, not worried about anything and what people think, real golfer!!😊
ОтветитьAnd then he sank 57 beers that night
ОтветитьJOHN IS MY FAVORITE GOLFER EVER!!!
Ответитьand he was like, smoking 3 packs of cigarettes, drinking bottles of whiskey and eating breakfast and dinner at mcdonalds everyday? Dude looks quite healthy and agile
ОтветитьYeahhhhhhhh
ОтветитьHe’s a golf god and play’s and lives how he wants
I hate when people say if he had done this or hadn’t done that .
Two majors and he is a house hold name . Can you name half the players who have won majors ?…..
He hit a whole tree branch down
ОтветитьThat mullet is beautiful 😂
ОтветитьGreat golfer and amazing hair helmet.
ОтветитьI bet he drank water that day.
ОтветитьCould watch this guy all day. His swing is mesmerising
ОтветитьHe played and lived the way he wanted…….what a life to live
ОтветитьMan if he would have played in today’s golf! Watched him as a kid but never appreciated what he was doing. To young to know better
ОтветитьDaly is one of the great "might have beens" in sports history. He had tremendous talent but also had severe issues of addiction and discipline. The fact that he was able to be so successful through all his issues shows how extremely talented he was.
ОтветитьBryson Dechsmbeau of the 90s
ОтветитьThe year I was born.
Ответить"And that was enormous and perfect". I miss Ben.
ОтветитьCould have been the best ever.
Ответитьhe held a little extra weight but still was great. respect
Ответитьyou da man
ОтветитьJunior looks exactly like him. Exactly!
Ответитьdidnt need the music but W JD
Ответитьwhy with the corny music
ОтветитьI'm a better putter than Daly, but he's pretty good.
I was cursed with a 'trick' knee.
Held me back from winning those Majors.
Adam Sander owe john dail money for stealing this video to make gilmore happy
ОтветитьJust goes to show you a long swing is better than a short swing as long as you've got rhythm. Of course without rhythm you ain't dancin anyway. Something else I'll add is that arm swing and body rotation have to match.
ОтветитьImagine how pleasant this video would be without the on-hold music in the background.
ОтветитьWhat a man. Almost a bit sad. Compare this to the trajicomedy that is modern John Daly.
Wonder what the guy in the video would think if what he's become.
Daly won a championship in a van down by the river. Insert the Chris Farley SNL sketch.
ОтветитьGreat footage, but do we really need that damned music?
ОтветитьGrip it and rip it…golfers today way overthink the swing and game…especially leadbetter totally ruining many great golfers…wie…etc…great win for John…totally annihilated this golf course…all the bunkers and troubles - he flew by them by 20-30 yards….wow…wonder what ball John was using…probably titleist professional 100 balata runner wound ball…
ОтветитьI asked John Daly what's his go to drink after waking up drunk? He said drink the same shit that you were drinking the night before....lol
ОтветитьHis son is a carbon copy of him, it is insane how much they look alike.
ОтветитьAnyone else think he used to look like Todd from Breaking Bad ??
ОтветитьHe's a real person who gives a shit less what the status Quo thinks!
I love the guy..
Legendary performance and man.
ОтветитьShow the leaderboard, silly. His play has no context otherwise. Might as well be a practice round. Gosh. Think.
ОтветитьWhoever made this video is clueless about his audience.
Here's what he forgot: After the first round, Daly was tied for 8th at -3.
After the second, first place at -8. He shot a 67 that day. Only three others shot a 67 all week!
Then he held onto first and finished at -12.
His main competitor: Bruce Leitzke, -9.
Ray Floyd and Steve Pate were in the top 7.
So nonchalant with those putts... he's already walking towards the ball halfway through the stroke...
