If ultron could find a way to infiltrate, and somehow take control of any part of skynet, they're finished. But what an amazing confrontation that would be.

Ultron also had superheroes and gods to fight if he wanted to control the world or burn it. Skynet had A dude and its own tech in the past.

Skynet was fighting an actual war and it was going 50/50 while Ultron just destroyed everything while upgrading himself only needing the help of 2 people

Ultron fights against literal gods and beings with reality warping powers.

Skynet had trouble beating some humans with guns.

skynet lost so bad in the future against regular human survivors they had to send a terminator in the past to kill 1 single lady and still failed ulton gained sentience in about 2 hours and was the biggest threat to the avengers n humanity already

Ultron doesn't even have a strong antivirus in his system. He got taken down by a early 21st century virus so I think skynet can corrupt ultron and make ultron their slave.
