Why didn't they pile on while he was on the ground? Two could have handled him but cop messing with cuffs didn't get them on and then got up and left his buddy to struggle alone and fail. Don't get it. Ok, I think he got accidentally zapped but it seemed like 3 individuals instead of a team without good grappling procedure. One guy should control the legs.  
When methods don't work it emboldens the perp.

Was it on his property? Did they have a probable cause or a warrant?
If so, police need bigger bean bags, not a lethal option. I bet you if he took one of those bean bags to his balls or face, there would be no need to go lethal.
And I'm sure they have those nets that are more effective than any taser or beanbags. Maybe they don't have those. They should get those. 100% success.

He would have stood there for hours, right move would have been patience and swat team. U should have had WAY MORE BACK UP to witness. He did make a fatal mistake going at officers like that. Swat would have been more time, resources, and they didn’t feel like a long haul.😮

I saw Nikko Ortiz's video on this incident and there are a few things that you didn't mention in terms of the conduct of the officers.
The partner of the POV officer for example not presenting his lethal while his partner has less than lethal, he also left his taser on the floor at one point. He also did have a breakdown after he gunned down the suspect. I assume he was a recruit, and so wasn't as experienced.
The entire situation seemed very chaotic and I think there were some points where the officers failed to communicate early on.
But it's not entirely their fault as the suspect was very uncooperative, and stupidly charged for the juniors gun.
So it's another case of escalating failures leading to a potentially avoidable. Death

Man, i usually dont break down your break downs, but wow this one is terrible. I really question why the deputy had drawn a firearm at that point. The suspect had not been searched obviously, but I think it stands to reason if he had a weapon, he had ample opportunities to use it on the officers already. The suspect simply could not have lunged for a gun, had one not been pointed at him. Ideally a K9 could have been utilized to save a life in this encounter.

That voice crack was enough to get him a citation for being too loud in evening hours. Holy cow that hit my ears badly.

That dude knew how big and strong he was and did everything to not escalate to violence while maintaining that he just didnt want to be cuffed and taken in. De escalation should be no1 for police, but instead we living in 1984 so another one bites the dust. He needed meds, not bullets.

The moral of this story is to listen to cops when they're barking orders at you.

Cops should get ju-jitsu training atleast to a basic degree. Would have helped in situations with big guys like that.

I highly recommend never telling an officer of the law to calm down. Especially if you've broken some of them 😂
