You don’t pause within a chunk like cheese sandwich but you do between 2 ideas or when you have connective.
By the way, we say SaMwich more often than saNwich 😂

I’m a native speaker …. And she partly has this wrong and actually trying too hard even tho there’s words that do link but “cheese sanwhich” is not linked ur still pronounce the Z in cheese and the S in sandwich.

Linking words together is very difficult for me. But because I really like speaking English naturally, I will try to practice every day and in any free time. Very useful lesson for me. Thanks a lot!
