UCLA Chancellor: No penalties from protests as of 11-14-2024

University of California Regents Meeting: Nov. 14, 2024:
Regent Sures ascertains from UCLA Interim Chancellor Hunt that there have been “hundreds” of complaints about alleged misconduct of students, faculty, and staff arising from the protests and encampment that began after the Hamas attack of Oct. 7, 2023.
He also ascertains that Hunt knows of no penalties that have been imposed on anyone arising from those complaints as of the meeting because of the time it takes to investigate and decide complaints.
