Later in 1933, Lucien Littlefield would also prominently appear opposite Laurel & Hardy in their full-length title Sons of the Desert. The character actor's 45+ year screen career spanned from the earliest days of filmed entertainment in silent shorts up through the onset of TV in the late 1950s, with his nearly 300 screen credits almost evenly split before and after his role here as Professor Noodle in Dirty Work.
