How i built a DREAM GARDEN with no budget/ Gardening on lake Como

Your spirit, vision, and drive is your gift. I have been following you since day 1 and your transformation of the garden shows how important it is to have things of beauty among rubble. I know that, like the garden, one day your home will be transformed into the same beauty.

Seeing your Garden it a treat for all of us. After a long day working in my Garden. I too, have a Huge mess after putting on a new Roof and In 2015 a windstorm came an took out over 75 Huge Lodge Pole Pine Trees! now I have just a few smaller piles of branches/slash too cut up. I have burned it all for heat in the winter. I can't wait to see your updates, It makes me so Happy. I have a broken window needs fixed, holes in my ceilings, electrical wire issues all safe but not done right. In time all will be done.

All I can say is BRAVO Alla how you have started from day one in your beautiful garden all your hard working AND No budget you and Sergi have done an amazing job . Your garden is so pretty and with so many beautiful added touches just perfect. I have and do love watching you on your renovating on your house and garden. It is such a joy to watch your faces on what you both achieve.😘😘

You've done so much it's now hard to believe the garden was one horrible mess and it was a really good idea to start there even though it was cold , you're inspiration and art painted the garden before you'd got far because you have a good imagination. I draw my picture how I want my garden to be then transfer it on my garden and you've done as you've said , a imagination is a good thing to have I was always dreaming of what I'd like things to look . You're garden is a credit to you both but you learned about not letting rubbish pile up it becomes a pain and in the way , the slug solution was a master stroke I've been fighting them for year's so looks like I can do what you've done . I've never heard of it before I'm nearly 70 and I've never used the pellets because I don't want to kill the birds , last few days I've been out in the garden yesterday first the big lawn now emptying my pots from last year the damp wet winter rotted my plants . I love the was stepping down splitting each garden a wonderful idea and matches the village around you , you both come along way and I can see you will soon have a stunning home you're drawing are coming to life a last thing that huge Stone in the bathroom wall that was a omg moment when I saw it my love to two beautiful souls ❤❤❤

The problem is, creeping bellflower has a very strong and extensive root system so it spreads quickly and will easily take over your garden and choke out other plants. It's also hard to get rid of.

I love how you have transformed brambles into a garden that a master gardener would be proud of. It must be so joyous to sit in your magical garden listen to the stream as you gaze at the lake and mountains. Bravo.

Hello from Albuquerque New Mexico USA, did you know that Dahlias are edible? The flavours and textures can vary greatly depending on the soil and conditions in which they were grown. Flavours range from water chestnut through to a spicy apple or even carrot.

To get rid of your slugs. Put a shallow bowl of beer where the slugs are. they will crawl into the bowl of beer and drown. I have done this. It works.

Fabulous garden. Watched the transformation and have sat in wonder. When you prune your camellias you can use them as cuttings for new plants. You can grow new hydrangeas from their leaves. Split them and pop them into soil to grow on
