Secure Acres Natural Bees Honey Extraction

This was our first harvest from the Layens Horizontal Hive!

Honey extracting is really easy. We leave the bees with at most 10 frames for the winter, we then pull the remaining for extraction. Once the frames are pulled we uncap the wax using a hot knife. Then we let the honey drain out and its as easy as that!
