Needs a retune after dpf removed. Not a valid test
ОтветитьThese guys talk about if it is leagal. In what country? Just removed my dpf and gained 31% power in South Africa. Did a dyna tune to prove it
ОтветитьWhat front bar is that?
ОтветитьAre all turbo back exhaust illegal in Australia or WA? Can you get away with it?
ОтветитьAustralia is a liberal hell hole. I hope down under they never forget what happened during Covid.
ОтветитьSo the DPF helps lower emissions output but for it to work correctly you have to drive further than you normally would which will make more emissions 😂😂😂😂 so stupid.
ОтветитьWhat a lie... My car gained 20hp with dpf and cat delete
ОтветитьTheres a reason why they didnt talk about reliability. A dpf and EGR does nothing but damage the engine. Delete both for fuel gain and never have issues with soot
Ответитьwhy dont the OEm sell the vehicles for best setup??? no wonder people stuff around with them...
ОтветитьWhat a load of s*it! Take the DPF out, re-map to suit and then show me the numbers. This chanel has 0 credibility.
ОтветитьHi do you do a tune for a cannon 2023 model thank you
ОтветитьDPF sucks!
ОтветитьWhat is the point if the car is not remapped again after removing dpf?
ОтветитьNo DPF = like old school engines, better performance!
ОтветитьDPF clog up? Not possible.. Too much Autobahn, high revs and or 100mph+ sustained journeys!
ОтветитьAre you saying removing a DPF is similar to a custom remap? You mentioned you only removed the DPF and coded it out of the ECU. I am assuming you didn’t remap for power, help the ECU as stock just turned off the dpf? Or did they all have custom remap plus DPF delete.
ОтветитьSo the vehicle tuned with a DPF made no extra power.....wonder what would happen if they tuned it again to suit the dpf removal 🤷♂️
ОтветитьLies
ОтветитьDpf not a worry. Delete EGR anything. EGR are cancer to turbo diesel engines
Ответитьmost people in England don't even get chance to drive over 30 for months, some towns have restriction of 20mph, over 10k cameras in every town, dpf wastes alot of diesel just to burn soot, half of your tank will go down in waste. temperature because of this process causes many issues, why do bmw's have oil leak issues? rocker cover, injector seals, all because of this temperature increase, many case catch fire because egr gets stuck in open position, and it literally melts everything. i have seen many cars like this, a tip for down town drive, never change gears below 2000rpm. if it's auto always use sport mode, push gearstick towards left. it changes hears on high ravs, also i have used cars with just egr off, and dpf on. that makes huge difference. soot never gets the chance to recirculate but again if dpf is already blocked, it will stick kick in regen. untill it gets the pressure sorted. but removing dpf completely it releases really bad fumes. i mad that mistake once. but car was fine but if i start the car i couldn't stand behind the car, i could smell really bad fumes. even it was efficient dymanics. but engine was fine. my fuel economy was perfect. always over 50mpg in town, i was getting over 60mpg on motorways. but again, i hated fume smell. i find that is the big draw back.
Ответитьcan a tune damage an auto gearbox? I have a 2009 Nissan Xtrail with 6 speed auto, 150 bhp, the manual trans version has 175bhp and about 50 nm more torque. It's a common opinion that the Xtrail gearbox won't take the extra power and torque which is why the higher performance was never offered with the T31 Xtrail. What is your thoughts?
ОтветитьDamm they make swt Fk all power.
ОтветитьHas anyone been or know anyone fined for a dpf delete ir removal?
ОтветитьTomasa Parks
ОтветитьMoen Skyway
ОтветитьThe big problem is when it doesn’t regenerate properly it dumps diesel back in to the oil causing oil dilution it then like my sprinter get a message saying oil level to high so have to let some oil out if it happens again you have to change the oil as it’s no good because of the oil
ОтветитьI would love to see same demo using Mazda with 4JJ3 Isuzu motor.
Ответитьif you love replacing turbos, then keep your dpf in place. If you think these tools are full of shit, get rid of it and the egr too
Ответитьwell it would just gain that little cause you didnt tune it without the dpf.. duh.... tune it without the dpf i bet you'd get a whole lot more power.
ОтветитьEarline Run
ОтветитьWe don't want to remove it for power, we want to remove it because the damn thing clogs your up your engine, very much like clogged arteries with this abrasive black diesel snot! The truth is if we didn't care about the environment nobody would ever put this crap on their engines! It robs horsepower, efficiency, and engine longevity. You may as well just throw a fine grain sand in your oil! There needs to be a better way without having to load up these engines with all these systems! We need a cleaning system to clean the cleaning system! Crazy...... I like the environment, I don't want to pollute, but this is not the way to go about it....
ОтветитьDPF is shit
ОтветитьElvis Coves
ОтветитьDiesel Particulate Filter Filter? Just say DP Filter lol
ОтветитьLisa Dam
ОтветитьBoyer Turnpike
ОтветитьNot sure if its been asked the comments, if you get a tune on a new vehicle but the dealer does a factory software update as part of the service under warranty, is your tune gone? Thanks.
ОтветитьI run up and down the highway weekly but this didn't help. Engine light and DFP lights up even on the highway. At 255 k my transporter is now needing a new engine even after a new turbo at 200 k which I think is related to the EGR failing. I was losing coolant to towards the end.
ОтветитьI know you got ur own mechanic shop, but you seem clueless if you think people remove dpf to gain power..
ОтветитьDpf, egr and adblue should be remove from all vehicles. They actually cost the consumer more money. Due to the very expensive problems they actually cause, plus the chemicals used to clean and the waste of time and money to fix. Then there’s the environmental problems this causes. Greenies always know better!!! 🤔🤔😂
ОтветитьJust knock a hole through the filter so it never thinks its clogging is the easiest. The older the dpf the dirtier and the less power !
ОтветитьBut you didn’t physically remove the dpf?
Ответитьthis is like a circle jerk nerd off between these two
ОтветитьGarbage comparison to protect their shop from fines
ОтветитьI removed my dpf because like a EV it's just gay and we all know it except the gays and who Care what they know
ОтветитьSurely though, you remove the dpf then remap it??
ОтветитьWrap your DPF keep it hot
ОтветитьAll my cars and/or trucks have none of them ambiental crap and proper remapped
ОтветитьIT IS ILLEGAL TO REMOVE A DPF!!! The purpose of this test was to see the restrictions with the DPF and without the DPF. There’s been a lot of comments about why we didn’t re-tune the BT-50 after removing the DPF. The vehicle did not require to be retuned after the DPF was removed. The engine still recorded the same targeted turbo boost level and AFRs (air:fuel ratio) on the dyno with the DPF out as it did when we tuned it with the DPF in. So removing the DPF did not alter the tune, the targeted boost and AFRs were still correct. Removing the DPF made no difference in terms of restriction for power and torque production. Nothing on the BT-50 was changed other than removing the DPF and deleting the DPF off the computer (ECU).
This means that we are NOT restricted by the fact that a vehicle is running a DPF, with regards to how much boost and fuel we target during our custom dyno tuning procedure. If we wanted more boost, we can still do that with the DPF in place.
Also note that gains and results always vary from model to model; engine to engine; and are also dependent on how we tune the vehicle for the customer. For example, tuning for max power/torque is vastly different to tuning for towing, which is how this white BT-50 on this dyno, used for this test, was custom dyno tuned by us.
