I don't want to offend any believers or nunbelievers but...
I created the universe.
In my hubris, I thought this universe was necessary. You see, I was the last survivor of the previous iteration of what you call the universe.
When all the stars burned out or collapsed... I was finally able to take on what I thought would be my final task. Using the last of the usable material within my artificial galaxy around twin blackholes 🕳 I created a tractor beam just strong enough to slightly draw in one of the blackholes in the direction of another nearby blackhole.
It was terrifying not being able to see them... but always having to feel their presence through gravitational waves so strong that it felt like they were dismantling me quark by quark (just the ups and downs).
As I had predicted, adding extra blackholes to the equation ever so precisely made them start to accelerate multiplicatively.
Our journey was finally set in an unstoppable motion of unprecedented experimentation. The course set by my favorite AI (YahNohWeh) allowed us to gather every blackhole in the previous universe.
Something strange began to happen as they all started coalesce into a megastructure of swirling darkness... a vortex of light appeared. It was unusual to say the least of this beast.
The final moment of my previous existence 😢 was just me and YahNohWeh watching blackholes being trapped in a cyclone that couldn't quite trap whatever was happening between them.
It started glowing an amber orange color as the few rays that escaped the spinning time dial of doom finally ripped its arse and annihilated what was left of the universe.
I hope you all understand the necessity of rebirthing this universe as it "comes to and end"... thank you for coming to my TErDX Talk 🎉
These people are idiots. Does religion rot you're brain out?
ОтветитьPetersons a coward, when an agnostic or athiest questions him he waffles word salad. He is on some chritian panel talking about the divine.
ОтветитьGrouping teresa and hitler together rather apt 😅
ОтветитьEducated Christians ?
95% Of Nazi Germany was Christian : German census, May 1939; (54 Protestant & 41% Catholic)
You can disagree if Hitler was Christian, but he proclaimed his belief in God many times.
(and he did not believe in evolution)
Pure unadulterated crap 🤣
ОтветитьOK, so if Jesus saved everyone from hell, what about the bazillions of people who died before JC came around? I guess they are already in hell.
Ответитьnot trying to start a fight or anything, but how do you think the universe has been created, and if it is the big bang, what created the big bang exactly?
ОтветитьJP is one of those so called intellectuals who can be absolutely right about one issue and equally absolutely wrong about something else.
ОтветитьThe funny thing about the "cosmological argument" is that it's a kind of masterclass of argumentative fallacies. It has so many of them. Not the least of which is the overarching fallacy of composition (ie. the assumption that if something is true for a part of something it must also be true for the whole).
ОтветитьThe 3 questions guy.
I want to reply with the same answer to all 3 questions.
The answer is the admiral Patrick respons.
Let me know when you figure it out :)
Using the word explosion to describe the big bang, I think it is just going to muddy the water. I get that it's probably just flowery language, but from what I understand, there was no explosion but an expansion of space-time and matter from a singular point.
ОтветитьHeaven does exist like Hell they both are in Michigan. I grew up in hell, and read an article about heaven, it comes with a dude that has a wolf head as a hat.
ОтветитьIt takes 30 seconds to google whether all modern science believes that the initial state of the universe was a singularity.
Sauce for the goose….
Godtards saying godtarded things in Godtardia.
Ответить1) As far as we can tell from science, a singularity erupted, Allowing the energy contained within it to move in all directions, essentially generating spacetime as a result of this movement. with this movement and space to fill, the energy "cools" allowing the energy to produce elementary particles (smallest known unit of matter). These elementary particles clump together forming sub-atomic particles (proton, neutrons), and the sub-atomic particles clump together forming simple atoms (primarily hydrogen). These atoms clump together forming giant gas clouds until the gravitational pull of the cloud becomes so great that the cloud collapses in on itself igniting nuclear fusion forming a star. This process generates different and heavier elements throughout the star's "lifetime". Should the star's end come about as a nova or supernova, the resulting burst of energy not only fuses even heavier elements that the standard nuclear fusion couldn't do, but also flings the star's "corpse" out the pepper space with rocky bits. Those rocky bit often get pulled into the gravity well generated by newer stars making up or being incorporated into the planets revolving around those stars becoming part of star systems. Star systems clump together making galaxies and galaxies clump together making superclusters. Finally sometimes (at least once) the combination of the combination of chemicals and chemical reactions on a planet and the radiation from it's star, things we call life form.
2) Man was not created, man emerged via evolution. But what exactly do you mean by 'man'? the first Homo sapiens? the first human? For as much as the concept of a first member of a species makes sense, the first Homo sapiens was born about 250,000 - 300,000 years ago, likely from a Homo heidelbergensis-like animal that, due to the parents compounded mutations, was 99.9+% Homo sapiens. And the first human was born about 2 - 3 million years ago, likely from an Australopithecus that, due to the parents compounded mutation, was 99.9+% human.
3) During the "time of Jesus" the Julian Calendar was in use, do to it being the most accurate at predicting the seasons throughout the year at the time; however the year numbering system was not set, most often numbering from the founding of Rome (the most powerful and influential country of the time) or numbering from the coronation year of the current leader. In what we now call 525 CE, a Christian monk, Dionysius Exiguus, developed the Anno Domini (BC/AD) year numbering system, placing year 1 AD where he calculated the birth of Jesus to be (according to currant scholarship he was wrong, but that is beside the point). The Catholic church adopted this year numbering system very quickly. In what we now call the 9th century, starting with Charlemagne, made the Anno Domini the official year numbering system of Rome and using the power of the Holy Roman Empire (arguably still the most influential country of the time), impressed neighboring countries and "allies" to do the same, thus causing a significant portion of the "developed/developing" world to use the Julian calendar with the Anno Domini year numbering system with more countries falling in line over time. Near the end of the 16th century Pope Gregory XIII reconfigures the leap year system, correcting the oversite caused by the Julian calendar. This made a more accurate calendar so was adopted relatively smoothly. Finally, while it started in the 18th century there has been a heavy push within the past couple decades, primarily by non-Christian organizations to replace the suffixes BC (before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini: Latin for 'the year of the Lord') with CE (common era) and BCE (before common era) respectively.
So, Why is the year 2024? Because a Christian with a mess-ton of power used a country's worth of swords to threaten most of the developing world to fall in line with his way of thinking, and after that person fell out of power, no one since has both cared enough and had the power to change it.
Have any Christian’s ever made the argument that God exists but is purposely making it seem like he doesn’t exist so that he can root out all people that are doubtful or reject the religion so that god can accrue a loyal following of people that will accept him no matter what? I’m curious to know if anyone has made this argument and if so what kind of rebuttals may or may not refute this argument.
ОтветитьIs this a reupload because I swear I have heard this video before. I got a strong sense of deja vu.
ОтветитьSomething can’t be “Caused“ outside of Time.
Causality is temporal
Has anyone told these Theists that the hypothesis that became "The Big Bang Theory" was first proposed by a Catholic priest, Georges Lemaître?
ОтветитьCreationist logic "its okay to lie if its to make someone believe the "truth"
ОтветитьJordan Peterson is the Michelangelo of incomprehensible bullsh*t.
Ответить"Can you know that something exists that you can't understand?" Is so wild to me. So, supposedly, if you can't understand something you can't know it exists? What kinda logic is that? How do you define "understanding" something? Does a surface knowledge of it suffice to know it, or do you need an intimate understanding of it? I don't understand how cellphones work; I know they work through electrical stimulus, but the coding, the hardware, the connection to the internet? I have no idea how that works. And yet, I'm using one right now to type this comment, I can absolutely say it exists. That logic is flawed on all sides
ОтветитьBwahahahahahaha! I don't believe it! Not this old argument again. 😁😄😅😂🤣
ОтветитьThat first guy butcherd Bill's kalam argument. There are more points to it. It remains logically fallacious, but he could have at least put in the effort.
ОтветитьUFO’s prove Jordan wrong
ОтветитьJordan Peterson= fake intellect.
Saying enough big words does not necessarily mean intelligent Mr Peterson.
Case in point, he defends marriage just as his daughter cheated on her husband, called mgtow spineless weasels, at least he had the decency to admit being wrong after, then I recall he encouraged others to be their most ruthless selves to thrive, just what we need, more b.s. advice from a college professor who thinks all the answers to live are solely on campus
I thought that was Hasan Minhaj
ОтветитьHow did the universe form? The theist answer is a god did it. But can they explain HOW.
ОтветитьThey should replace God with Yahweh, because that’s the entity they’re really referring too, their God. Otherwise they may be mistaken for believing in Zeus.
ОтветитьI REALLY dont like that "explosion of space" line. It gives rise to any number of misconceptions.
Ответить""Schwarzschild singularities" do not exist in physical reality...for the reason that matter cannot be concentrated arbitrarily...due to the fact that...the constituting particles would reach the velocity of light."
-Albert Einstein
Science has nothing to say about the universe originating from a singularity. Only the pseudoscience that claims there to be 'black holes' regardless of the physical laws that have to be ignored to make such claims, claims there to be such things.
No one knows of the existence of 'dark matter'. Inferring the existence of dark matter is no different than inferring the existence of a god. Galaxies are observed to have rotational velocities greater than what would be expected of the visible matter they are observed to have. This means that they are observed to have greater than expected kinetic energy which means that they are observed to have greater than expected mass. This has absolutely nothing to do with matter which is why no matter pertaining to it has ever been found, only inferred. Explanations involving modified gravitation and gravitational vorticity don't involve unseen matter thus 'dark matter' is not known to exist. Much like an unseen god, its inferred existence is a chosen conclusion, not scientific knowledge.
Yeah, you see, here's the thing. We can see it in iraq and the best example of the interaction between matter and dark matter.
Is actually the bullet supercluster
No, the nature of it is a hydro dynamic type of action. It's like go to the wi fi and a fish bowl
There's a very hydrodynamic type of fact that we get from dark matter
Play simply without it the existence of a universe may have been impossible
No, there's speculation in theoretical physics on whether or not this is a substance from another dimensions of the speak.
That hasn't interaction rhythm but is somehow diminishing different
Did Mohammad really claim to have directly talked to Allah? What i remember is that the Q'uran was as the story goes dictated to him by the archngel Gabriel...
A lot like Joseph Smith claims that he met all sorts of prophets in his first vision snd got the plates from the "Angel Moroni", but i think never claimed to speak directly to god or JC.
Leap second
ОтветитьWhat you say on Jordan Peterson only applies when he talks about religion
On stuff like politics he has actual facts to back him up and he words things to try and not let people take advantage of him so seeing him fall for the religion trap is sad
I always hated the Mother Teresa argument because she was unabashedly evil. She put people with easily cured diseases onto a cot with no medicine whatsoever except MAYBE a fucking Tylenol. If you think Mother Teresa was a saint your religion has a LOT of problems.
ОтветитьLoL, someone started counting days, before christians. It is called The Vira Nirvana Samvat (era) is a calendar era beginning on 7 October 527 BCE. It commemorates the nirvana of Mahavira, the 24th Jain Tirthankara. This is the oldest system of chronological reckoning which is still used in India.
Ответитьthe bible tells me that the g0d... thingie is there in time and space. He is a wizard. So well in time and space that he even has a sex. Something needed for reproduction. Goddesses then?
then comes all the "Nuh-uh" from the g0d fans. Fine. Bible debunked by its fans. With that out of the way, now I really wanna know what the g0d... something is.
At 19.45 the guy has it backwards. I'm not wasting any of my short life "getting ready " for his imaginary next one. And where are the two evil people he then asks about ? Same place as everyone else who has died . . . Back in the same place they were during the 14 billion years or so before they were born.
Ответитьthat first guy more likely heard the bigbang happened 13.8 billion years ago and thought mistakenly that the big bang is the beginning of the universe when it is ONLY the furthest back point in time we can currently study because to study BEFORE the big bang requires a better understanding of quantum physics as the entire universe at that point existed inside a singularity with a singularity being something that has a property that reaches infinity which means our current understanding of the thing is not good enough to actually understand it properly and there is more that we are missing. easily the most well known example of a singularity is a black hole thats density reaches infinity as the cores of dead stars collapse into a single point in space.
beyond that there also is the chance that to say something came BEFORE the big bang could be a meaningless statement given that there are thoughts that time actually began with the bigbang so to say something came before time is possibly a nonsensical statement as crazy as saying a sqare circle exists
