I fully expected 60fps coming to this. Now, I suppose 30fps isn't so bad given the camera follows you from a stationary angle, along a linear path, so it isn't rotating, but seeing as it is a platformer the smoother animation and tighter control of 60fps could make it much more pleasant. Wonder what the pro updates gonna be.

See now Sony gets it, Crash Bandicoot, Parappa The Rapper. Remakes that don't change the game.

Now if only Square Enix in it's rabid, desperate desire to try and remain relevant by ticking as many industry trend boxes would have realized you don't have to completely change the game in order to get people to buy it. (Breaking it up into 3 separate games is icing on the cake. 3 games x 40-60$ each = easy way to exploit the fanbase)

Square used to create their own trends and push things forward, now they just fall in line.

I think these screenshots look promising and I think this is a great idea from sony. Crash B. are classic games.

Love looking at these self-entitled console users being like "OMG 30 FPS WOW GOOD JOB" when a linear-designed game such as this would barely benefit from a higher frame-rate as the camera is locked for the majority of gameplay and is not first-person. Something that people fail to remember is if the frame-pacing is excellent, 30 fps will be just as responsive as 60 fps.
