Not sure how you can call this a remaster when too many things just look flat out different.

At first i saw the remastered version and was like
"this is a scam, it looks completely like the old game." then i saw your video (mind you its been like 15 years since i last played this game)
thank you very much for posting this video, just bought the game to play the nostalgia and watch the girl get betrayed again :(

Is it me or StarCraft 1 really played harder than StarCraft 2. Everything isn't healed, repaired automatically.
Just look back on those tougher day, dunno why I still tried to play it.

this isn't really that impressive no offense to the devs, but it seems like the bare minimum was done...

They shouldn't have changed portraits. Raynor looks completely different for no reason.

All remastered did was bring starcraft from the 90s to 2004. We need a remaster that brings us to SC2's level of graphics.

Now i know why these old rts games is getting remastered/reforged/definitive edition (starcraft, warcraft, age of empires, command and conquer red alert 1, /? Battle realms being online?/ )

1. They try to delay the succeeding versions (wc4, sc3, red alert 2:yr 2, aoe4,battle realms 2 corruption of lotus)
2. They are milking money from nostalgic old gamers back in the 90s. And integrate it in the next generation + 4k graphics.
3. They will remaster the following versions of these games. (sc broodwar, wc3 ft, ra2 & ra2yr, hoping for battle realms wotw) another milking.

It's nice. But is it 15EUR nice?

Sooo when Blizzard first announced this "remaster"...was I the only one imagining Starcraft+Brood wars with the Starcraft II's game engine? No? Just me? Ok
