Who makes a R8 sound like a Jackson? Who???
ОтветитьI love you videos man! Keep going! Do you by chance have a quickrod with the b+ mod?
ОтветитьSounds ok... not worth wetting your pants over though. Fake hype
ОтветитьGreat vid!
The IIC+ (IMNSHO) is where Mesa nailed the Lead mode.
Video represents the higher gain side of the amp nicely, making sure the rotary EQ is set to enhance that. Tones are tight. 🤘🏻
I have an OG 3/85 SG IIC+ and am more of a crunchy player, so my rotary EQ has the treble at 6, mid at 4 and bass at 2 and sounds right. GEQ is kinda a reverse Nike swoop… It’s an amazing amp at an Angus AC/DC gain level, too!
A great amp is a great amp. It’s kinda a shame Gibson didn’t represent the amp properly. Marks do have a specific way to dial in…
mesa boogie is by far my favorite amp brand. never gonna have one tho cus there so expensive and a little overkill for the bedroom.
ОтветитьMan, all the best for you....what negativity....you are such a good guy and make very clear what to expect on your videos... negativity is out of the question. Keep what you are doing, its working, fuck the rest!
ОтветитьMy favorite union buster.
ОтветитьSomeone has been saying mean stuff about you in the comments? Bunch of savages in this town.
ОтветитьAwesome tones man.
Ответитьits odd that you leave the lead master pulled, but not volume 1, because lead master has always been more scratchy while volume 1 pull just thickens up the texture and saturation.
typically its the first two pulled, bass shift left in, lead drive pulled, lead master in, and deep pulled only to taste. presence around 3 - 4
The wall is missing a fender bassman amp.
ОтветитьGreat demo , like that you used a bunch of different guitars 👍IMO it sounds like every other high gain mesa more or less. Price is up there with all the other Boogies as well lol 🤣
ОтветитьYou’re smashing it, Kyle! Your channel’s content is fantastic, and your personality and positivity really shine through. Trolls will troll; they likely never owned a 2C+, can’t afford one, or think that having the final word on the correct presence setting and cab combination is a macho thing to do. If they’re so good, they’d have their own channel or a platinum record. Thanks for keeping us entertained, enjoy the end-of-year break, and keep it coming through 2025!
ОтветитьI like the sound from that gibson sg. Great demo. Also that last all-black guitar looks/sounds awesome
ОтветитьThat little Megadeth sounding riff you always slide in there is fire dude!
ОтветитьI knew once you, Ola, and The other John Browne got a hold of it, it would sound good! Nicely done!
ОтветитьDi capture for Tonex pls!!!!!
ОтветитьI understand the hate. Anyone who hates your videos is just jealous of you. You do a great job Kyle and I enjoy your videos.
ОтветитьWay better without the pedal.
ОтветитьWhether its exactly like the original or not it still sounds killer and probably better than the original overall!
ОтветитьBeautiful flame top on that gibson
Ответитьlove your demos... IMHO, you've featured other amps that sounded punchier and "tighter" than this one. keep up the awesome work! :)
ОтветитьComment made to me about this amp: " Yeah, but it's not a gain monster"
Ummmmm....
I think Gibson is out here playin’ chess. They got way more eyes on this situation the way they did it.
ОтветитьHello could you try the MOP studio notes settings with a 435hz tuned guitar and no geq engaged.
ОтветитьWe're finally getting proper demos of this amp. Mesa/Gibson should contract you and Ola to be part of their advertising team.
ОтветитьI love everyone crying about Gibsons demo last week… who cares what Gibsons demo was, (did you honestly expect Gibson to release a metal demo??) you all knew guys like Kyle Ola and Fluff would eventually get amps to test and make the one noise you wanted to hear anyway.. BUT social media being as it is, it gives all you crybabies in the peanut gallery something to bitch about..
Ответитьhey man, is it the les paul itself or pickups or this amp but it sounds kind of thin, i was expecting it to be a bit chunkier, this sounds like a strat, is it the amp?
ОтветитьHappy New Year Kyle!! Keep up the awesome work!
ОтветитьOne of the most brutal amps ever made. I need one.
ОтветитьGreat analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
ОтветитьHetfield and COC had some cool mesa tones. Probably many more I don't even realise use it. I seem to remember scott burns took one to Brazil when recording sepultura, 'beneath the remains' I think.
ОтветитьDude the video quality on this video is exceptional. New gear?
ОтветитьBest Gear reviewer in the USA!
ОтветитьUsing just an SM57 was a feature I appreciated, bringing an element of consistency when all the other gear changes between videos, so I miss that. I might be in the minority, so either way I hope you do what makes you happy. I love your videos, and lack of cleans and solos - that's basically how I play too.
ОтветитьLove your videos, you have a sense of humour that i understand..been playing guitar for 20 years and STILL cant afford a mesa-its my dream amplifier. Keep up the good work. (From South Africa)
ОтветитьGreat demo Kyle - love your stuff. The only thing I'd say is that I wish you'd have demoed it with the Mesa metal grill 2x12 behind you or a metal grill 4x12 (not sure if you have one of those).
ОтветитьAll these demo vids are the same... If you F with the dials and EQ for 16 hours, use 20 different mics in different locations, run every possible EQ and mixing program in Pro Tools YOU TOO CAN GET THIS AMP TO JUST SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN SH*T. Just get any model of EVH or Peavey 5150 or an old JSX and you'll be way ahead of the game with $2K to spare.
ОтветитьAh man that drop C sound, filthy. Sounds great dude!
ОтветитьHaters can eat shit. I’ll shout you a beer if you ever come to Australia.
Ответитьlow end cranked on a v7 mic hmmmm
ОтветитьRepping the drum center!!
Ответитьthat sG is bright
ОтветитьHow different in feel and tone is the PRS MT15 compared to the Mark VI? I really can't afford or carry big tube ammos anymore and the MT15 Mesa=-esque tones would still work in a band knowing that transformer size. Plus I am finally accepting indie shows have PAs now too so I will be heard.
You should just play the Chug intro riffs to EC- Firestorm each video. At This point is that the most copied riff of all time next to the breakdown in Metallica- ONe?
Loved the explorer tone! Would quite like that rig tbh!
ОтветитьAre those the Bill Kehlihehleehrhehr Signature HUmbuckers or does RItchie Falkner of Judas Priest have a Signature pickup? * edit, Dissonant Aggressor is a Judas Priest song for those who don't know
ОтветитьAs a BLUES LAWYER and major Gibson fan boy i find these tones to be insulting. Agressive tonality which manifests a PESANTRY rage. Things are going great in this country. I just bought my THIRD YACHT. Who has time for the RAGE MUSIC of the NE'ER'DOWELLS. If you played this type of music on one of my YACHT parties youd be BOOED off stage in favor of some more Clapton esque riffs. Perhaps "YOU LOOK WONDERFUL TONIGHT"?
ОтветитьAll that tone for only 4k. A Bargin. I'm I right? lol
ОтветитьYour killin it Kyle !!!
