What I would recommend to everyone is to go out and Google search their name, just their name. And odds are that their LinkedIn profile will be on that front page


I’m Chuck Shaver, the president of CS Sales Consulting, and we do corporate LinkedIn training. I was an early adopter of LinkedIn as a sales rep as I started helping other people learn more about LinkedIn to help them leverage their sales.


I realized that I enjoyed teaching as much as using LinkedIn. I practice what I teach and it's built the business that I have today. LinkedIn for many years has been the world's largest business to business platform and what started out as most people's stripped down resumé. Now it's more of a resource and to talk about who you help and how you help them today.


What I do is I come in to companies and I help them with their LinkedIn. When we deliver our profile optimization service, it goes through the 454 areas and sections of your LinkedIn profile where most people just scratch the surface on that


For LinkedIn sales training. It's four different pillars. So we focus on one day of just search.


The second one is how to do outreach. The third is talking about posting. And then the last one is cadence. What is your schedule? How often should you be doing this and how do you build your brand? A lot of people in my industry that do what I do come from a marketing background, which is great, but they don't have the sales background.


So it's the language, it's the how do you approach people? What's going to attract people in? And that's the value that I bring. Imagine never having to do another cold call. Imagine that when you open up your LinkedIn profile, there's people waiting to talk. Imagine allowing to give a sales pitch to thousands of people that you don't even have to be present for.
