This election year has been touted as the most consequential in history— both federally and in state legislatures across the country. The stakes are high on every issue that impacts every person from abortion rights to our economy and education. Survivors of workplace abuse are locked in to bring awareness about its pervasiveness and connect with state lawmakers to support and pass the workplace psychological safety act the WPSA. In my home state of Indiana, there’s one person who we can count on to introduce this bill - Josh Lowry. He’s the democratic candidate running for Indiana House District 24th. He’s pro-choice. he wants to empower our educators and raise our state’s minimum wage.
The attorney is a husband and father who also supports the WPSA and isn’t afraid to publicly acknowledge that it needs to be introduced to the Indiana General Assembly. He took time out of his very busy campaign schedule to speak with me about the urgent necessity for this bill to be passed because, as he says, “Equality Hurts No One!”
Next week we dig even deeper about the benefits of passing the WPSA, his campaign’s fight to restore civility, and the importance of thriving. Feel free to connect with him and learn more about where he stands on other issues by going to his website.
