I feel like this will do better. This is a proper spin-off, you just don't create a spin-off in a particular universe without establishing it beforehand. I feel like this is why Bloodlines failed, because it was like "What? What is this, nonsense?" I mean I don't necessarily think the episode was too bad, but as a backdoor pilot and in parallel to Supernatural it was completely out of place, and quite frankly uncalled for. Maybe if we knew the characters beforehand and it wasn't some isolated political familial mobster like theme, maybe it would've worked. It's like creating a Mickey Mouse showing up, and there's a backdoor pilot to its Spin off with Bugs Bunny.......how the hell does that make sense even if the backdoor explains that Bugs Bunny is trapped in the Disney world.....like.....what? I'd still watch that though, even if it made no sense, by the way.

NOW, if Wayward Sisters is what I think it is, and hunting with with a female cast, yeah I'm more than okay with it especially since it doesn't seem to be coming off out of nowhere and doesn't seem unwarranted.

I do wonder how the show will intersect with the main show, like will they have an effect on one another. Will Wayward Sisters experience the world in danger if Sam and Dean are in the primary aspect of trying to save the world. For example when the Leviathans were a thing, if Wayward Sisters existed then, would they have encountered Leviathans?

Supernatural Bloodline would have done much better. Wish they didn’t shut down the idea. I was really looking forward too it.

I hope they add Madison McLaughlin's character Krissy Chambers to this show I could definitely see her and Claire Novak teaming up and kicking ass together

It will have a better chance at success than blood lines since it has more well built characters than bloodline. Bloodlines was more of like the TVD or the Originals and didn't have the right vibe.

I love this idea. It's seem so empowering to see female leads. Jodie's character is very real, and down to earth. Why does everyone hate this idea? Everyone loves supernatural, but propose the same idea with women instead of men then it's a bad idea somehow

Nice idea, but Jody is not a character I've very interested in following. Wasn't their a failed spin-off of Supernatural already? I think Amber Benson's character, a trouble vampire who didn't want to kill, would have been better, but they ganked her earlier in the series. Other options I'd rather see as main characters: Garth, Meg (a demon turned good but they killed of her off too) or one of the angels trying to live with humanity, possible Castiel.
