I feel both happy and sad when watching the Tom Cruise version of Mission: Impossible. I'm happy because Tom Cruise portrays Ethan Hunt so well, with incredibly stunning action. From the first film to the latest one, all of them are excellent and have increasingly intense moments from one sequel to the next. I'm sad because it's hard to imagine what it would be like when Tom Cruise eventually retires from playing Ethan Hunt, and then one day, a new Mission: Impossible movie is released with a different actor. I'm personally pessimistic that any other actor could match Tom Cruise’s success in portraying Ethan Hunt. The character has become so closely associated with his face that many actors might even decline the role if offered to replace him.

It's completely OH MY GOD experience....the underwater scene...means completely speechless...I was entirely in that deep sea....& I had goosebumps ....

Nobody runs like The Cruise.

Went to the Imax 2 nights ago , the under water scenes were amazing then the part with ice ( we was floating in our seats ) was first class movie making , well done guys .

Tom Cruise climbed a skyscraper, hung off a cargo plane, rode a bike off a mountain, skydived god knows how many times, flew a helicopter and even performed a corkscrew maneuver, dove underwater without an oxygen tank for 6 minutes... he's 90% stuntman 10% actor

Pom plays MANTIS in Guardians of the Galaxy, i didn't recognize her at ALL, but her normal voice here was familiar....huh...I had no clue.

Terrible film. Several illogical scenes- resurfacing from 500m underwater in his swimwear, no breathing apparatus, landing after his parachute burns up as ? He had a second parachute on? Mindless scene after scene action. Why was Ving Rhames in a hospital bed and the nurse is killed off??!!

The film is imperfect, it's not the conclusion I was hoping for, it has a lot of writing flaws, it lacks certain elements to close the story properly. But I still had a great time, and held my breath for quite a few scenes. In short, it's not the film i'd expect, but it's still great fun, made with love and passion, and we can feel it.

He's been with us for 30 years with the fantastic action doing his own stunt...it was such an incredible action movie ever since, 3 hours long with up and down scenes..

The story wasn’t amazing and overall it was too long. But the action was absolutely worth every penny. The entire time I was thinking, “how did they even film this”

I come from a small city where there are no IMAX theaters available. On my way to Delhi for my treatment, I decided to watch this movie in IMAX. It was my first experience and the best one. Big fan of this franchise.❤

Its definitely worth a watch on Imax

I saw the film yesterday at the cinema. I'm done with the cinema, I'm not going again. Ok, Tom Cruise hangs from an aeroplane ? So what ? If you want to see someone hanging from an aeroplane just watch Harold Lloyd. The rest of the film was the usual incomprehensible storyline with a dose of Scientology psychobabble at the end.

I really miss practical effects and Tom Cruise seems to be the only one using them. CGI should ASSIST practical effects, not replace them.
