The ingress protection on 13R is a deal-breaker this year, while the 13 micro-curve display is a deal-breaker too, so, let's patiently wait for the 14 and 14R.

Was this video created before or after the 2 recent OP 13 updates that were released since launch improving the cameras? The 2nd update was just released yesterday and both updates were geared to fix camera picture and video performance.

Just got the 13r and it's fantastic! Traded my 12 and am loving the newer design/ flat screen and sides. I have found the camera to be totally adequate if not actually great. Great phone 🤳!

Lack of wireless charging on the 13r ruled it out for me. Looking for my next upgrade from my Nord 4 and 13r could have been it. Disappointed I didn't have it in the Nord so next step for me will be the more expensive 13.

Unfortunately, this video is a little misleading. The 13 features a flat screen and flat sides. The minor tapered curve is a bezel. It's not part of the digitizer. In fact, there's no bleed over, Miss touches, Miss swipes or issues with gestures. Actually, I'm gratified that OnePlus finally delivered a modern squared flat screen design that doesn't look like an iPhone clone. That's my biggest pet peeve with Samsung and Google.

I own 13R and surprised how it performs similar to 13. Even cameras are pretty similar in many scenarios. 13 - Pure Flagship, 13R Pure Flagship KilleR.

13R is cheaper than 13, hence 13 will be more better than R, you get more if you pay more 🎉

Sir huge fan, having small business no gaming. Plse suggest good UI, decent camera/battery and long run phone(5yrs), Op13r-27k, Iqo13-43k, Op13-51k, SamsS25-52k all base variants. Most value for money!

Why can't any manufacturer give a proper selfie cam upgrade even in 2025 still!!.. We want a proper 50 MP, 1/1.5" or bigger size, f2 or less aperture, high quality 7P or higher sensor with OIS & AF on our selfie cam please!.. Until this is met I consider all so called Flagships to be Compromised, Overpriced phones!... By the way I'm a Xiaomi 14 Ultra user from past 9 months & that is my biggest complaint with my phone 🤷

OnePlus 13R by far for me! The completely flat screen is exactly what I want, plus the 8 Gen 3 is still a killer, and the cameras of the 13R finally get a long awaited improvement by added a telephoto camera.

Thank you. You make compelling arguments for both. And given i always either drown my phone or break it, its hard not to go with the 13 for the extra protection.

I got the 13 and id give it a 9/10. The slightly curved screen means you still have crap screen protectors. Also, I hate ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. I may pick up a 13r.

I would take the OnePlus 13 or 13R, but my OnePlus 8 even after 5 years still works perfectly!
