Fun Fact: If you look closely, in the beginning, Söze has a golden watch on, like Verbal’s, hinting him as Söze a couple of minutes before he’s revealed

I remember my brother kept on clamoring me about watching this movie. I wasn't interested, I don't really like criminal drama type movies like this. But he just kept on and kept on so finally 'fine, I'll watch you're stupid movie'.

I sat down and started watching. I got sucked in, I was like 'yeah, this is pretty good I guess'. Towards the end he'd kept popping his head in to see where I was at in the movie. He'd just look over, nod and give me a thumbs up and duck out. I'm just thinking he's being snarky with me because I'm enjoying his suggestion.

It gets towards the end, that final interview and he slips in and takes a seat. This whole scene starts playing out...Kujan starts looking around the room, the realization dawns. I start realizing what's going on, Verbal transforms to Keyser Soze. I'm losing my mind.

He just smirks at me. 'I told you it was a good movie'.

Spacey was such a repulsive and unconvincing actor. He always had this degenerate smirk on his face like he’s thinking about abusing children. Taking his mom to the Oscars should have been the first clue. Scumbag deviant.

In my head , hes either keyser's underling , or keyser soze did exist, he just used it as a escape goat to twist his story, bcz he is a conman, or he is soze, convincing me 100 percent that either he is keyser ,isnt keyser ,he doesnt exist or he is working for keyser , that's the first time i am sure that all these answers could be right, like the last quote
" The greatest trick the devil pulled
was convincing the world he doesnt exist, and like that poof , hes gone"

Kevin Spacey in "The Usual Suspects" and Edward Norton in "Twilight" (1998) are by far the best story and character twists I have seen in cinema history so far. You just instantly wish you could rewatch the whole film for the very first time!

I feel like we’re all overlooking how Kujan’s so hyper focused on Keaton he completely misses some obvious clues until the end. He’s so intense in his hatred of Keaton he is blind to any other idea he’s not some criminal mastermind behind everything he’s involved in.

This story is a masterclass in how personal bias clouds judgement.

So he’s gonna form this insanely complex elaborate plan to trick a bunch of criminals, who stole from him, to rob and steal while he secretly kills them one at a time and then make up impromptu names for 4 minor details including the location of a barber shop, Redman, where he picked coffee beans, and the name of his right hand man…all based on some text from a bulletin board that is clearly too far away from where he is sitting to read 99% of it.

I was spoiled the ending of the movie, so I knew who Keyser was the whole time, but it still managed to shock me and that's a statement of how great the movie is written, like I knew he was Keyser from the start and I still believed his lies and story until the very end

I watched this movie for the first time a few years ago. It was covid lockdown in the UK so I had nothing but time. I got to this ending and said to myself, A police detective fails to catch a murderer and a criminal mastermind and all he had to do was turn around and look at a notice board for more than 2 minutes. Then I asked myself the question, Would this guy have gotten away if Agent Kujan had interviewed him in an interrogation room rather than an office?
And finally I didn't sleep all night thinking about this movie.
