I like this video ... and about Bette Davis ..... all the photos are great but one stands out. That being Bette with Hattie McDaniel ... think about it, Bette said hell with you I'm entertaining the Black soldiers and at that time .... you know the big shots didn't like that ... I just read that Bette & John Garfield started that club to entertain those troops in WWII, and they faced heavy criticism for letting Black soldiers into the "Hollywood Canteen" but Bette & John didn't give in & saying if the Black soldiers weren't allowed they'd close down the Canteen. I never heard about this story till now..... all I could say is "All right - to Bette & John for standing up!!!" God bless them!!!!

"Now Voyager" is my favorite. She plays a character who speaks for many. Her transition from a pitiful victim in a bullying family to a person in total control of her life is a lesson to all of us. Betty you made a lasting impression; a true triumph of the will. Thanks.

A great actress! Seems like a lot of these actors came from divorced or broken families.
