They're likely moving eggs into the nest. An ant colony has to start with a queen-and eggs(you don't need to know that because you are an idiot).

I think those are farao ants and if so they may make multiple nesting spaces.
They even can have multiple queens per colony.
So id be careful with letting them free roam.

I started terrarium building a few weeks ago and because I harvest everything every morning I wake up there are dozens of slug trails all over my house and crazy bugs iv never seen before lol just aswell I don’t care but my gf on the other hand is getting sick
