I should think being jeered at by Bill Ferny, on the way out of Bree, was the worst of his trials.

His broken toe 👍 close 2nd was With his right arm elf Legolas and dwarf Gimli distracted Sauron “For Frodo”,a great strategy, fight for time, put his life on the line in battle to give Frodo a safer path to Mount Doom.Viggio was a perfect choice for Aragorn, terrific casting in the LOTR and even the Hobbit, hope he comes back as Aragorn in the Hunt for Gollum 👍🇦🇺😊

I've always wanted to learn more about Aragorn's great journeys to the distant East, deep into Rhun, and the far South, where the stars are strange. You spent hardly any time on them; I think that some of these travels took place between T.A. 2980 and 3001.

Him learning of his heritage, becoming leader of the Dunedain.
His exploits in Rohan, riding alongside king Thengel.
Then his exploits in Gondor, meeting a younger Denethor and his battle with the Corsairs.

The Appendices tell us that by the time 'Thorongil' departed Minas Tirith following his victory in Umbar, he was held in higher esteem than Denethor in the hearts of men and even Steward Ecthelion himself. It really speaks to Aragorn's character and wisdom that he chose to walk away before his presence could cause more strife. As much as he wanted the Kingship of Gondor, and as much as he believed it to be his birthright, he was not willing to make a play for the throne if it would put him at odds with Denethor. Instead he waited until the time was right and he not only had the blessings of the people of Gondor but of its Steward as well.

Don’t let Amazon Prime adapt this story as a prequel series!
