Great Video, this would have been helpful before building my PC, but looks like a did the right thing with 6000 28-36-36-96 (2x48) as I need the extra RAM for 3D and video creation/editing. You could also consider G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) / 32GB (2 x 16GB) 6000MT's 26-36-36-96.

If your going with 9950X3D then I would highly recommend deliding it or buying it off Roman for the warranty with TG. Im running it with a micro-block direct die from TG and Im getting max of 65°C max temp in a from that gets between 30-40°C.

In a nutshell: as it was in many cases prior to high-speed bleeding edge of new tech this particular generation, you shall be absolutely fine with "regular" speed/lowest latency possible combo as long as you don't buy $0,5k CPU/$∞ GPU set to play on ya old trusty 720p monitor😅

I'm using a 9950X3D on a X670E Taichi with a 2x48gb 6400MT/s CL32 kit. I've been running the kit since I got the board and my 7800X3D at the time. The other day I decided to tweak the timings a fair bit which has significantly improved system performance and gaming performance. All the weird system loading issues are gone now. I also say this to shed some light on the fact you can use 96gb of reasonably fast Ram on AMD with no problems. I obviously only tweaked the timings within the last week on my 9950X3D and my 7800X3D never saw those tweaks so it may not have agreed with it.

Ramm spec needs an evolution to make it more compatible. I guess cam and such is better?
