ОтветитьHi to all the folks comin' here from Abigail's Philosophy Tube video.
ОтветитьWho else came here from @PhilosophyTube ?✌ Watching this from Sweden and enjoying every bit! This is what public service tv is for <3 Absolutely brilliant!
ОтветитьI love community art projects. This is so neat.
ОтветитьAight, Imma be straight: I do not get what people are on about saying this is cringe or traumatic. Like maybe there's something cultural that didn't quite translate on my viewing—I'll admit that I didn't catch like half the words, excuse this ESL—but I think this is just a fun anthem and tribute to a piece of presumably useful public infrastructure, which frankly I wouldn't mind all that much we have more of.
Ответитьi kmsed
ОтветитьMove over, The Jam. There’s a new king of underground songs
ОтветитьThis gives the Coventry Market song a run for its money. The BBC really had a sweet idea with these local social history musicals!
ОтветитьTook me a few rewatches to notice this, but if you listen closely to where they all sing together, there actually singing the station names
(Byker, cullercoats, north sheilds, Whitley Bay, etc.
EDIT: whilst watching the credits, it says:
GAFFER
Tony Cook
For those who don’t know, gaffer is a north eastern slang for ‘boss’
