It was practically impossible to find high waist jeans in the early 2000s. Mid rise was about the best you could find, but your main choices were low rise and ULTRA low rise 😂

my mom would put me, her obese child, in ultra low rise but a size too small :D she also convinced me jeans didnt fit right unless the bottom of the jeans literally touched the floor. then she got mad at me when the bottom if my pants got dirty, and she would make fun of me for having a plumber butt. now as an adult i have a weird indent that goes around my hips (not a hip dip, its the width of the top of the jeans and sat exactly wear the low rise would sit) that accentuates- and quite possibly caused) my muffin top :D oh how i love early 2000s fashion 😂

I hated low rise jeans as a teenager. I liked wearing mid rise and/brief underwear because it was comfortable but most of my jeans were low rise. Low rise jeans were notorious for sliding down when they stretched (for me) which was an absolute pain. So when I was relieved when high waisted jeans came back into style. I envied the Tanners on Full House with their high-waisted jeans.😅🤣
