What do you do in the event of like a power outage? How long before it can hurt the lizards? I worry about stuff like that and that's why I haven't gotten one yet 😅

I suggest straight paper towel for baby bearded dragons substrate bc of impaction. Although if you do have a baby it’s always safer not to have sharp edges on any pieces of wood and for their enclosure simple enough so they cant get injured in anyway

Could you do one on a budget friendly one? Also I had a bearded dragon when I was younger and it died after A year because it ATE THE SAND IN ITS INCLOSURE INSTEAD OF THE CRICKETS AND WORMS! So do you have any other suggestions? I am scared to put sand in it inclosure now

I think that if the reptile has low calcium or smth, he could start eating the sand and die. So im not sure.

I didn't want to spend so much money in buying tank for later on. My starter tank is a 5x2x2 which is 150 gallons because I heard bearded dragons grow fast. Can I use repti sand for baby? And when do I change it to the pea moss, top soil, and play sand mix you did in your previous video?

Looking at how healthy your dragons are I 100% trust you and want ours to live a long healthy life.

Yeah the reptisand is horrible for them. It contains calcium which causes them to want to eat it and then boom compaction. I use a mat from dubia roach. Solid smooth mat

Reptisan is NOT good for substrate! It has silica and other harmful materials that can cause eye and respiratory infection.
