ОтветитьHey! I hope people still notice this comment, but quick question, can they have misters or foggers? Plz answer!!
ОтветитьCan you go larger without stating with the 40? Is so how big can I go?? For my place bigger is better
ОтветитьWhat do you do in the event of like a power outage? How long before it can hurt the lizards? I worry about stuff like that and that's why I haven't gotten one yet 😅
ОтветитьWould it be ok if I just go ahead and put a baby bearded dragon it a 4x2x2 tank?
ОтветитьIs 55 gal long okay for my growing bearded
ОтветитьCan the Arcadia T5 be placed inside an enclosure with skrews instead of on top. I don't have an open top like in the video where the lamp cam be placed
ОтветитьNow if i can find similar advice for crested geckos
ОтветитьThey might eat sand and get impacted
ОтветитьI keep seeing mixed reviews on sand and am confused now😭
ОтветитьI suggest straight paper towel for baby bearded dragons substrate bc of impaction. Although if you do have a baby it’s always safer not to have sharp edges on any pieces of wood and for their enclosure simple enough so they cant get injured in anyway
ОтветитьWe have a 90 gallon tank for a uh around 7 or 8 inch dragon maybe 6 inch
ОтветитьWhy are the red ones so bad?
ОтветитьFuk that sand they eat it and it clogs them up I us the carpet with a heat pad on the bottom of the tank
ОтветитьIt's really about the personality.❤
ОтветитьCould you do one on a budget friendly one? Also I had a bearded dragon when I was younger and it died after A year because it ATE THE SAND IN ITS INCLOSURE INSTEAD OF THE CRICKETS AND WORMS! So do you have any other suggestions? I am scared to put sand in it inclosure now
ОтветитьI think that if the reptile has low calcium or smth, he could start eating the sand and die. So im not sure.
ОтветитьI thought you couldn’t use repti sand because the bearded dragon can eat it by accident
ОтветитьI didn't want to spend so much money in buying tank for later on. My starter tank is a 5x2x2 which is 150 gallons because I heard bearded dragons grow fast. Can I use repti sand for baby? And when do I change it to the pea moss, top soil, and play sand mix you did in your previous video?
Looking at how healthy your dragons are I 100% trust you and want ours to live a long healthy life.
Sand can cause impaction !
ОтветитьThe fact that pet stores still sell shit that's just blatantly useless for what it's marketing for is insane
ОтветитьTy I am getting a bearded dragon and this is so helpful
ОтветитьMy 1 year old bearded dragon is 5 feet
ОтветитьI used ground walnut sheels but i don't know if they were good or not
ОтветитьI’m at getting one tomorrow and I’m getting my bearded dragon there The same spot, but I’m getting the colour for one
ОтветитьSand is terrible for bearded dragons. They pick it up whenever they go after the bugs you give them 🙄 I use coconut husk for mine
ОтветитьFinally good advice in general!
ОтветитьDon't use sand pet can get impacted
ОтветитьDon't use sand use mats sand can be bad for them
ОтветитьI get rid of the heat lamp and get a thermostat and ceramic build for heat
ОтветитьYou shouldn't use repti sand it can cause impaction
ОтветитьEvery thing is amazing but don’t use sand I did and it ended up horrible because they sometimes eat the sand with there food and have trouble digesting it
ОтветитьI have a reptile and fish shop near my house and they have the BEST enclosures plus SUPER nice staff! One of them let me hold a bearded dragon and i immediately fell in love so im gonna pick him up soon his name is Pineapple :3 (named after a Dumbo Pineapple butterfly betta I saw the name on a tank)
ОтветитьHow much reptisoil should I mix with the sand??
ОтветитьNo no no, never use strate sand it will impact and kill youre animal. Use eco earth. Mixed with sand and coco fibber.
ОтветитьSand leads to impaction. Just use kitchen paper as the floor for a baby beardie
ОтветитьYeah the reptisand is horrible for them. It contains calcium which causes them to want to eat it and then boom compaction. I use a mat from dubia roach. Solid smooth mat
ОтветитьReptisan is NOT good for substrate! It has silica and other harmful materials that can cause eye and respiratory infection.
Ответитьr/BeardedDragons would crucify you for saying the sand is ok lol.
Ответитьthanks for the good advice
ОтветитьI quite literally went today and bought one of the kits. Now I'm discarding the junk from it that I don't need and am going to buy proper equipment
ОтветитьSand is definitely not good for them
Ответить“ Beardys “
I thought it was just my family who called them that! Guess not😆
Made me feel much better about them.
BEARDED DRAGONS ARE ADORABLE i use baby voice w them:)
I still have my bearded dragon, he is very hyper😭
ОтветитьI thought 40 gal was good for an adult one?
ОтветитьHow long could a baby beared dragon stay in a 60 or 70 gallon tank?
ОтветитьReptisand is NOT the best for bearded dragons, especially baby ones. It cld block there digestive tract and clog there nostrils. Reptisoil is what ppl shld use.
ОтветитьI don't have any of this except for the logs
ОтветитьNO sand is bad!!!!!!!!!! Sand will compact your bearded dragon go for soil, or play sand mixed with soil that’s safe for bearded dragons!! Please never put sand in your terrarium!!!
ОтветитьIs it fine if u get an adult bearded dragon tank for a baby bearded dragon?
