It's a great game that some are still playing in their late 30s. Some illegal moves here and in these types of videos ...lol. Can't tackle a man unless he has the ball. No tackling during a jump to catch the ball. Head hits totally illegal. No Swinging arms. No shoulder charges. No hip drops to the back of the opponent's legs during a tackle. No punching of course. The umpire can send a player off for 10 minutes for serious fouls and that changes the whole outcome of a game, or the other team can get a penalty goal. These are great sportsmen, and they all have a duty of care to their opponents - though at times certain players lose their cool, they all respect one another. Rugby union, with lots of scrums and mauls is different to Rugby Rules which is a much faster game using all of the arena throwing the ball - more running, short kicks, great to watch both. Regards.

The Most Feared Rugby Players, is it about, how hard they played?, how many conversion they kicked?, if the top scored in the team? Did they help the team win or just played hard?

I can only think of Jonah Lomu and Henry Tuilagi as players that genuinely instilled fear. Jonah because of his size and speed and Henry because he was he ultimate wrecking ball.

Rugby is a hooligan’s game played by gentlemen. Football is a gentleman’s game played by hooligans.

To be honest, most of those are really fool plays and don't shine a great light of these players. Like, I mean, yeah, Gorgodze was impressive, but he wasn't really a nice player. Etzebeth also does completely uneeded body slams on players who didn't have the ball anymore. By comparison, Chabal mostly does regular and safe tackles, and not fucking judo or bar brawling.

I've always thought Rugby and Hockey were the two toughest sports. Well, hockey used to be when it was violent. I played hockey with a rugby guy that was huge and a four goal a game hockey player.
