SHOULD You Film 4K Video or is 1080 Enough?

Which are you recording? 1080p or 4K?

If there was something in the middle I would probably use that. I would like more room to work with 1080p but not fill up my storage so fast

I am using a Samsung Galaxy A52 for amateur filming. 1080p has unacceptable bright halo along the edges due to excessive sharpening. Therefore, I record 4K and convert it to 1080p. Then the quality is much better.

Bruh your videos are under-freaking-rated. The quality and delivery is ridiculous (in a good way). Even though I'm not a film maker, I'm sticking around to watch anything you put out

4K all the way. I don't care about marketing and file size. Crispiness glory :)

Everyone’s iPhone camera is amazing and then there’s mine… I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the camera has been awful since it was brand new while everyone else’s was crystal clear. Any advice?

I've pretty much just gotten used to the 4K workflow after using it for 5 years. The extra resolution is clutch for both cropping and stabilizing footage.
I almost always export into 1080P though.
