If you read (looked at) Max Power magazine or watched some of the DVD's you may remember Project 2000, the last Max Power demo car to be made! In this episode we get hold of the keys and take the famous Max power demo car around the Donington race track to see what the car is really all about! With different skills needed over drifting will I be able to muster grip driving, or will John take control and go full ham? Stay tuned to find out! Full spec list of this iconic car touched by Ford Motorsport and Mountune can be seen below :)

Engine:

1998cc 16 valve, 4 cylinder, Mountune airfilter, aluminium inlet trumpets, Mountune throttle bodies, Weber injectors manufactured t Mountune's specific flow rates, slide throttle linkage, inlet & exhaust port sizes increased and hand finished, Group 'A' lightened & shaped inlet valves, machined cam followers, solid lifters, heavy duty single valve springs, kent cams to Mountune specification, grooved and ringed engine block, Group 'A' cylinder head gasket, Mountune forged pistons with machined pockets, Mountune forged con rods, balanced production crank, Mountune crank positioning sensor, Ford EC4 engine management system with Mountune imput module, Fram oil filter, Magnex stainless steel exhaust manifold and Magnex 2.25in stainless steel exhaust with double pass back box and custom twin DTM centre-exit tailpipes.

Transmission:

5 speed manual RS2000 (mtx75) gearbox with minimal tolerance gear clusters, polished internals, Mountune Motorsport F2 clutch

Suspension:

Spax 'RSX Race' dampers with height-adjustable platforms and 2.25in springs all round, bump & rebound adjustment at rear

Bodywork/Paint:

Standard rally spec flared RS2000 arches (all steel no GRP), modified sills, modified Cossie WRC rear spoiler, Morette twin headlight conversion, re-shaped standard RS2000 front & rear spoilers & bumpers, recessed side repeaters, carbon fibre DTM wing mirrors, locks off, de badged boot
