Another reason I dropped all games I played with Activision sad day used to love their games before managers not devs ran the business into the ground in my opinion. Such a crappy game overall not mean black ops but just most of them in general all they do is look if you want this spend money if you want this spend money. Non stop

Bro, after blops cold war and the switch to the new game engine. Combined with losing my progress and vantard releasing, I lost my will to play. All my cosmetics, cool load outs, and the passion is gone.

There is plenty of evidence that Activision is likely illegally accessing your camera and mic to assist in their matchmaking, and there is evidence that they are using an AI to create AIs of players to assist with the pool of players the game can use for sbmm. Either way tho, the sbmm is so bad in cod I can't play anymore or I'm playing against faze members and hackers. I'm sure if I bought the battle pass and some premium guns and stuff I would be having an easier time, but I shouldn't have to

Everyone I know who plays Call of Duty has been complaining about it for years. But they keep buying it.

Haven't touched COD since infinite warfare. Don't plan on going back. They're all the same to me. Same guns, same mechanics. Sure the campaigns have been good for the most part up until that point. But after the shit Fortnite introduced, EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. Afterwards has copied that model and it's let to games becoming such dog shit it isn't even funny. Most of the games I play now a days aren't first person shooters. Of the ones that are, they aren't multiplayer. The only exception is Helldivers 2 and that isn't even a FPS it's a 3PS. All the ads wanting me to buy cosmetics, battle passes, and other random bullshit just doesn't interest me. If i like a game I just want to play it. Not feel like I'm sitting in the middle of Time Square any time I end a game and go back to the lobby.

I remember when skins and costumes were unlockable through just playing the game you bought. What a sham this industry has devolved into.

Counter-Strike ruined shooters, really. At least military shooters. - Franchises like "Medal of Honor" and "Call of Duty" were NOT about all this "modern warfare" crap, so in my view the latter was already "done" as of the original "Modern Warfare". Of course it was also trying to compete with "Battlefield" in a way and even THAT franchise was honestly already becoming worse since "2" (even though that's very early on and it was hugely successful, I just don't agree with everything about it, nor with how a lot of people played this game, again like a twitch-shooter on small tight maps most of the time). And then also "Medal of Honor", in turn, started to try and copy the "Modern Warfare" style about 15 years ago, and it didn't even work out. - Now, these games will never return to form (with the more historic settings in campaign-form, even though there ARE campaigns, they're just too batshitinsane like Michael Bay flicks), because they're too successful in the current form, but that doesn't mean they're good. They're just mass-appeal slop anyway, so I honestly don't care that they've shoved AI and monetization in there. Anyone who has spent money on this garbage deserves it.

Lol. Always figured SBMM was rigged and tied to the shop. Literally stomped in 95% of games in COD but noticed when i play a balanced game and i end up top half of lobby and everyone's kd is quite close, the operator skins are the free unlocked ones. Verdansk isn't gonna save this franchise.
