So true 👍
ОтветитьYou have no idea how much I preached to load test power and grounds but people still used LED test lights
ОтветитьToday a shop should supply the equipment and tools The government doesn't allow me to deduct my tools, so after 43 years of being a mechanic I'm not supplying my own tools.
ОтветитьWonder if you guys are moving over to fixing electric cars
ОтветитьLove your videos bro. Can u make a video on how to use the scope like in the future
ОтветитьI cant even get a proper diagnosis for a popping sound when turning in and out of parking spaces. MECHANICS SUCK. I pay to inspect and they DO NOT INSPECT shop after shop. I know something and they dont even tell me brake pads are worn? My guess on the issue is a u joint in the steering near the rack and pinion.
ОтветитьDo I need a Rad amount of Hair on my head like you??? Because im as bald as a Babys butt.. 😢
Ответитьcut your hair geez, total hippie
ОтветитьI'll bet this guy never got any girl ass in his life.
ОтветитьAre you the beast master👍🏻I was waiting for you to pull a couple of ferrets outta a satchel😂 Rockin hair my dude👍🏻 much love to ya
ОтветитьDo you need a stuffed pink monkey? 😂
ОтветитьAND A HAIRCUT
ОтветитьShe’s a great mechanic
Ответить#5 a haircut
ОтветитьHi and a cute doggie in the shop ; love your dog that’s and your video s😅
ОтветитьYou don't need expensive tools like these. This is a tool truck scam.
90% of the cars that come In the shop all you need is a code reader for under $100. For the last 10% or less just use the shop scanner. That's why the shop has a scanner. Spending big money on 10% or less of the cars is dumb. Scanners will also need to be updated which can cost $1k in price. Nice thing about a code reader is that it doesn't need batteries or need to be updated regularly. It also doesn't take up a lot space in the tool box.
You don't need a scope, Just get a good multimeter that can measure duty cycle . A good portable battery operated scope will cost over $2000.00. A good multimeter like a Fluke 87V that can measure Duty cycle will only cost $400-$500. You can also do drop voltage testing with the multimeter so a test lite and load box isn't as necessary. However, a test light isn't really expensive.
Can you make recommendations video of 3 of each you would recommend DIY and tech
Ответитьdont forget to ensure you got batteries in case meters die. the one tool you should add is a voltage regulated power supply. and switch based relays...and awesome headlamp(Amazon 30$)
ОтветитьWhat about the snap on belt, I gotta have a snap on belt or my day is shot!!! 😂😂😂
ОтветитьRather have a power probe than a test light.
ОтветитьHow about a HAIR NET !
ОтветитьAnd long hair! Must have😂
Ответить$300,000 worth of tools for a job that doesn’t pay shit, in the end. Job took took 8 hours because of troubles or difficulties and the shop rate is half that. 🙄 The tech gets fawked. No wonder nobody wants that job.
I DO appreciate you and your most positive content, nonetheless. 🙏🏽
Bang on. If you don’t need these tools, you’re not a diagnostic tech.
ОтветитьForgot the most important tool.
The 10mm socket.
Test light is bushido comparing to a power probe
ОтветитьTrue
ОтветитьGood list. I would add a power probe to that list and a good array of backprobe /proper pin connectors and a smoke machine
ОтветитьA hat!
ОтветитьWow,Sherwood.I wondered how long your hair was, unbunned?it's pretty long!
ОтветитьGreat advice. Me: get out on Amazon and buy all this stuff! Some days I regrets not perusing being a car mechanic. Not a technician. A real mechanic😂
ОтветитьIs that the Mrs?
ОтветитьShame about your barber dying dude...
Ответить😵💫 With your hair let down, you look like musician Joe Walsh
ОтветитьCut your hair 😂

ОтветитьCUT THAT HAIR. The 80s are over
ОтветитьToss a coin to your fixer, oh valley of plenty, oh valley of plenty ooooh oh oh.
ОтветитьSmoke machine buddy
ОтветитьShould show people how the scope works.
Would be very interesting
And a Cal-Van Tools 72 Amp Hound lol.
ОтветитьLOVE a good old test light. Then just a basic meter. Then a scope. all are great ideas!
ОтветитьSmoke machine. One made specifically for EVAP pressure (a lot of cheap ones will cause damage!).
