Bellagio in 2024: Beautiful Hotel, Like Flying Spirit but more Luxurious (Remodeled Spa King Room)

Bellagio is a 5 star hotel but experience is like flying spirit airlines.

Taxes/resort fee: $56/night

The good: Beautiful lobby, many decent high end stores within. Many pools provided plenty of space to spread out and swim. Two pools were shaded even at 11am to escape desert heat. There are trams that run to aria/crystals and park mgm. Location is central and the hotel is generally beautiful. Garden display is absolutely amazing and rotates with the seasons. Drive up appeal is amazing as well as the fountain every 15 minutes. Mobile check in is allowed through an app and provides a mobile key. Diana at check in was very nice. Got a “Remodeled Spa Premier King” room but ultimately ended up with a fountain view (was an even numbered room, so odd numbers face away)

The bad: It’s like the high end version of spirit airlines. Early check in has a fee. Upgrades have a fee. All the snacks on pressure plates have a fee. No free water. Pool and fitness closes really early like 7pm. Check out time was 11am—Early check out wasn’t available but probably would have had a fee too hahahaha. TV turned on but had no connected sources, so nothing to watch. Half of the room has a window, the other half is a wall.
