This is stunning; here's what I wrote when I shared it:
Not only is this an hour of banging Psytrance, but the animation is the closest I have seen to a rich pictorial hallucinogenic trip.
Some trips have endless rolling patterns, like Mandelbrot sets or mandalas, but some are a constantly morphing series of recognisable images, objects and landscapes: your mind rolls through them, unable to hold onto one; they constantly writhe and morph.
The animator here has nicely captured how you might turn to look left, right, up or down, but the horizon refuses to match your direction of tracking: look up to the sky, and it's the new floor; look closely at the flower, and it becomes the field that the flower was in.
The constant rippling effect is also very common in my trips; anyone who has ever been on the receiving end of my attempted text conversations whilst out of my trousers will have seen them tailing off, as my phone insists on dripping through my fingers whilst I try to type...
