Why is the 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra the Fox Body to buy?

I also was a Junior in High School in ‘93 drooling over this mustang🙂

in 93 they cut the horsepower down on the GT to 205 and the cobra made 235 but it only had 285 foot-pounds of torque while GT still had 300 foot-pounds of torque so you really wasn't gaining anything you were just paying for the name cobra which the GT used to be 225 horsepower

My favorite is the four eye foxbody when I was 20 years old I bought a new 1986 LX hatchback with the GT package it was sliver with midnight blue interior and been kicking myself for selling it, never seen another one like it! I think I might have just made up for it this past fall I bought a 1994 GT convertible reo red with a white top and white leather seats with only 17,775 miles on it

I have one, red and everything, it was my dads when he was 18, he died when I was 10 and we still have it, It has 27k miles all original, im 24 now and its amazing because this is the car my dad used to get my mom and me from the hospital the day I was born.

There the ones to buy because there a 1 year and there worth a ton. That bieng said if you want one to modify this is not the one to get because you don't mess with these.

I will be a proud owner of one next Friday. I had the first one slip through my fingers in 93. To me growing up 90s there is no better car period. And the more it ages the more it’s worth.

I remember these! Those Fox body Cobra's were pretty Fing wicked back in the day. They made a LOT more than just 225 HP. Upwards of 260 is easy in these.

It wasn’t the horsepower that made these cars fast and fun to drive. It was the 300 lb ft of torque in such a small light car. That is still a respectable number today!
