They charge you $50-$200 a day, charge you the gas. Charge you for extra insurance and at a certain point they sell the car. This isn’t crazy

i work show a shop that works with one of the largest rental companies on the nation. and its honestly depressing how they treat these cars, the service they do is VERY basic. commonly requiring us to use wrong oil types because its cheaper. everything goes through an approval process and they approve NOTHING, no air filters, cheapest tires possible, conventional oil in a brand new car that requires full synthetic. it truly is a disaster, but im glad to know this so i can tell everyone NEVER BUY A USED RENTAL CAR IT WILL DIE
