They have a huge program like this out West as well. Apparently there's a craaazy amount of old gear on the bottom of Peugeot sound.
ОтветитьLooks like it took a selection of hammers to knock together
ОтветитьLuke.. is the Webo still for sale? I need a commercial boat with Webo's configuration.
ОтветитьLuke, You're a damn genius.
ОтветитьFormer Coastie and I really enjoyed that. I’ve subscribed. I was in Alaska, Northern Cali, and New Bedford ,Mass on a white needle of death 270”. Did a lot of boardings and most of the time learned a thing or two. Don’t think I ever failed a fishing boat and always refused but offered plenty of seafood
ОтветитьDid they find That truckers union leader Jimmy Hoffa down there yet ? I heard they used urinals' to hold the body down , Im just saying could be ! I heard the dock workers were mad at him along with the mafia , Its possible ! LMAO
ОтветитьYou should be working for nasa
ОтветитьWhite board guy needs a raise!
ОтветитьWhiteboard guy getting lazy lol😂
ОтветитьI don't know what that small long fish is but the others is what I call a piggy fish. They grunt, great bait fish also.
ОтветитьDragging for ghost pots is like a box of chocolates
Ответитьso cool how u reply to alsmost ever comment. you are an inspiration to me i look up to being like you one day keep up the good work
Ответитьif you leave a lot of pots on the sea floor "you aint no crabber".
ОтветитьThe flat pencil is so it doesn’t roll around.
ОтветитьCool, the state pays you to pickup your own trash....thats a good gig
ОтветитьThis a good program. Ghost pots are a very serious problem on the bay. Good job.
ОтветитьI had no idea that bluegills live in brackish water
ОтветитьBaby snake head
ОтветитьPlumbers throw junk toilets and urinals over board to make artificial reefs.
Ответитьbaby snakehead! keeellll himmmmm
ОтветитьI know this is old but I think that baby fish was a baby northern snakehead. Not sure but looked like it. That's gonna be a beast one day...I love fishing for them
ОтветитьI didn't live far from the middle river mouth,we used to crabs from dark head cove .near Martin State airport
ОтветитьYou going to do anymore videos with this boat?
ОтветитьGreat job lads. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьToilets are used in some areas of the United States for lobsters to hide in
ОтветитьYou're around the corner from us..Over here near Dobbin's Island and Manhattan Beach! I like your videos, the sarcastic funny humor which is priceless!
ОтветитьYou need to have a slack piece of rope from a break away piece at the top of the grappling hook going to the bottom of it. It gets snagged/stuck, breaks first spot attachment and goes to 2nd attachment which is at the bottom to make the boat pull the hooks backwards instead of with them just in case it hooks something that is impossible to move/can't get loose from without loosing hook and line. It's an old anchor trick but can work the same for this occasion also.
ОтветитьMy uncle had a summer place on Middle river and I would fish and swim as a kid. That was a while ago in the 60's and now the area is expensive houses.
Ответить“Ya never know what’s at the bottom of the Bay.“ Yet another useful metaphor for life from Luke.
ОтветитьI just ate. Your video was exactly 1 yam long.
Perfect.
Bless you for cleaning up the oceans bottom. Ghost pots, old fishing stuff is killing sea life!
Love your reuse-repurpose!🌎🌟
Nice work
ОтветитьHey Luke, Noticed ya using string around your throttle handle to keep her steady, Have you ever tried cutting a small wooden wedge about 4 inches long to just shove in the side of the handle down by where it goes into the housing?? I used one for yrs. on my lil 3208 caterpillar. It was an old Morse control double box just like yours, The lil wedge works really good, Might wanna give it a try, Lot faster than tying that string around it, lol. Good luck buddy and Good crabbing this season!!!
ОтветитьSuffering in style
ОтветитьWow so much shit on the bottom
ОтветитьDo u get paid per recovery?
ОтветитьExtremely cool program
ОтветитьDo these crab traps not have a biodegradable vent? As a Maine lobsterman, it is crucial that every trap is equipped with a vent that rusts away if it is lost. This enables almost everything in the trap to escape.
Ответитьhow old are you
you so cute
What do you figure a fisherman would have in a boat like your
ОтветитьJust wondering, do you get paid by the state to do this or do you just do it to clean up the waterways? Either way, good job!
ОтветитьThat looked like a shell cracker sun fish
ОтветитьAre you an engineer, you seem to make so many different things. How can yo be so young and have a boat and crew.
ОтветитьWhat are you doing with Webo now?
ОтветитьKeep it up Luke. You are the man.
How is the old boat doing. I personally love it.
USA has a large navy that could easily find and remove all of these without tearing up the bottom dredging with hooks... it'd be a good excercise for them and money well spent... but i guess they're too busy???
ОтветитьTHANK God you pulled Mat up on the dredge.
ОтветитьWho pays for your fuel?
ОтветитьYou are very inventive.
