Amazing film.

I watch a lot of movies from the 40's and 50's looking for hidden gems. Like gems, I rarely find them but this one makes all the duds I watch worth it. Absolutely fantastic. The holy trinity - great story, great acting and awesome direction.

I love watching movies from the mid century. It's like going back in time to when our country was a much better place. This movie was especially clever in that everyone was so well cast in their parts. Thank you for sharing it!

Michael Rennie played the alien in the original movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. I remember watching it on tv when I was a kid. I was scared and mesmerized! Loved him ever since then. Thanks for the movie Niki.

Very interesting movie. Live life to the fullest and never forget how to love. Love requires patience, understanding, humility, forgiveness, empathy, kindness and so many other things. It changes everything.

First-rate melodrama with a terrific cast. Bette Davis has a pivotal role as the wife of one of the airline passengers.
