I have a friend that I play D&D with who is always going on and on about “the rich” and this is me every time because I know I’ll lose a friend if I tell him off…


It’s not only “the rich” who are capable of evil. You’re not somehow more noble for being poor. Poverty and desperation more often than not drive people towards some pretty awful things, like substance abuse, underage pregnancy, child neglect, domestic violence, gambling addiction, crime. And this isn’t to say there aren’t rich people who are involved with this things, but the world is a little more nuanced than “rich vs. poor” black and white. Judge individuals by their actions.
