Tech is weak may not win another game

Texas Tech's Defense really shined on that one play: that 4th and goal stuff job. WashState has a tough schedule this year - sadly, Hawaii is coming to them, not the one way around. Darn. But San Jose State but their travel schedule includes a stop in central San Diego, glorious Fresno, Albuquerque AND Corvalis.

Did I hear that right? Wash State starts the game, kicking off to Tech and recovers their pooch kick? Tech players don't know this trick? Tech players refuse to learn this trick?!! So everyone's correct - this game's margin could have been much MUCH worse. Well, I don't know about that - refusing to tackle, refusing to cover, refusing to catch, refusing to block... how much worse does it get, Tech? I know, I know - DON'T ASK. Tech will show us... just wait. But Tech's got a lot of easy games ahead and with their great talent (I read about all those fantastic recruits the last two years) and best-ever coaches, I'm sure Tech won't have much trouble cashing in on the guaranteed wins.

No one has mentioned it, but I think the starting temperature on the field of 84 degrees didn't help Mateer. He made up for this by setting a new school record.
