As a fan of both Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Grimm I love how Grimm took Buffy's formula and dailed up a notch and owe that to the creator having worked on Buffy alongside Whedon.
Anyhow how the only few complaints about the show I have is how 2 good characters were killed off, Hank and Zuri's romance which seemed poorly handled but also what the writers did to Clare Coffee's and Bitsie Tulloch characters in the latter seasons.
Overall Grimm is a very solid show if you're fan of Buffy and Angel and the Grimm even feature a couple of call backs to both shows aside from featuring actors from both shows, the episodes Death Do US Part is a clear call back to the Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode I Only Have Eyes For You and the "Double Date" is clearly another call back to the Buffy's season 5 antagonist Gloruficus.
