I think that shows character by being honest. Would much rather have that than having a corner we didn't deserve

I did this when I played for my school and the other players on my team got super mad at me. I didn't even get an award

This is superb. Especially after a lot of bullshit that happened like the goal that was scored with a hand by.... (forgot which game it was, I think it involved Koln) and also some bullshit penalties that never even happened...

I respect his sportsmanship,but as a Japanese,I'd like to say Japanese are too kind in such a scene that they should have taken a corner.

You can see from different angles that the referee's vision was blocked by the white player. The referee constantly has to adjust his position in anticipation of game play, but there's no way any ref would anticipate this happening. Kudos to Osako. I believe he may have relieved the tension in that game and promoted a sportsmanlike atmosphere, though he would have been fully within his rights to take the corner.
