I always hated Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as a kid. To this day I can't see what the appeal of the movie is. I've also never been a fan of Gene Wilder.

I was born in 2006 (I'm 12 now) and I have seen and loved all of these movies when I was in preschool so.... Well yeah. It might be different for other kids but non of this disturbed me.

When I was younger I got so awkward in kissing scenes, especially when my parents where watching with me

Love the Willie Wonka movie. But it is quite creepy when you think about it. That being said kids growing up back then weren't over coddled like lot of today kids are.

Old disney movies are messed up. The rating guys probably rated it G so more people would watch it and disney wouldn’t get angry at them. As a 5 year old I remember being pretty terrified by sid in toy story. Willy Wonka is 100% fine, the kids that suffer are all really stuck up kids.

A scene that really bothered me as a child was from the movie Oliver. The scene where the young woman is murdered by her boyfriend! Talk about domestic violence!! Truly horrified!

Nobody thought any of this was scary.

I hated the movie All Dogs go to Heaven, and complained to a co-worker thirty years ago how much it disturbed me. She watched it later on and told me she didn't see anything wrong with it. I am glad I am not the only one who found it in bad taste. I'm also glad that co-worker and I parted ways 21 years ago....
