When I was a girl, on the school playground there was a hill which my friend and I would roll down, pretending we were Buttercup. "Oh, my sweet Westley, WHAT HAVE I DONE!" ...and down we'd go. lol Good times!

She literally waited (5) years.

How tf did she not recognize the man she loves by his facial shape and his voice LOL

Yeah... It's really good. Every time we went to the video store , without question, we rented this. Adventure, Excitement, a child craves these things.

I remember this movie from my childhood in the 80s. Even though I'm getting older, I always wanted to roll down that hill with them. It might take me half a day to get up now, but I'd still do it.

I love the idea that Westley just fucked up and went too far with the mocking, so he just yells "as you wish"
Then the princess is just "oh fuck that's Wesley God damn this man I'm rolling down this hill"

"You mocked me once, never do it again! I DIED THAT DAY!" Powerful words that showed just how sad, lonely and miserable Buttercup was, and her confirmation to Wesley that she still loved him.

"Is this a kissing book?" it's such perfect timing...

This movie was good. The farm boy is perfect.:).

When I first watched this movie I completely missed everything being said, because I couldn't stop staring at cary. My parents had to explain the whole 'as you wish' thing to me later because I was totally lost lol

kids don't know what they're missing these days. I adored this movie growing up and still to this day. How many kids today can say that about the drib Disney puts out recently.

You can see when Cary stands up he is avoiding most contact with his one foot that he had the broken toe on

How did they not break their neck going down that hill is what I still wonders of this day was it just other actors doing that because in reality if we all felt like that when we all just break all BreakOur neck

I never understood this the first time I saw it. I didn't even catch his words as he rolled down the hill; it was like she pushed him out of a moment of weakness, or so she concluded immediately thereafter.
