As pelipino myself we may not be rich but still happy and chill just make the best of what we got . I grew up in Tondo in Balut infact I love my Tondo. I live in Canada now.but still longing and miss my childhood Tondo .❤

Makati and BGC are actually different cities from Manila, they’re not districts of Manila. However, Manila City is a city filled with so many stories, every district (like Tondo) has a significant and distinct feel to them. You should try exploring those and yes there are mcdonalds branches you can try there

Why are people having so many children? The family said “we know it’s not safe but we don’t have any choice. We have been here for 19 years.” There were multiple small children in there! I would not want to have any children. Birth control or no sex!! Dogs pooping in the house made of scraps floating on water. This is horrible. The government should be ashamed. The waste system if you can call it that is criminal. I remember Imelda Marcos. I see the system hasn’t improved. Sad

philippines is a wonderfull place to relaxing, but in the outskirts the goverment of the phil.must rebuild and cleaned up more a little bit more civilisation.Thanks I really love your vlogs

Drew, you gotta be super careful when walking in Manila. Sometimes crimes may happen if you're not wary enough of your surroundings. Gunshots, riots, murders, can also happen in here as well. Not just in Manila, but the whole Philippines as well. It's prone to most killings. Especially in the middle of the night, if you are wandering outside, you are likely to meet people with armed/sharp weapons that are very hostile to you. Even if you're a tourist. You gotta be careful, man. Philippines is also home to crimes. Theft, murder, robbery, homicide, like every single crime, you need to watch out for those.

If your born in this environment and know no other way of life... Then it is all good. Ignorance is bliss.
