I'm glad you are taking a serious effort in making those long time lore videos. There are some old fan communities that threw a hissy-fit over convoluted plotline of Stalker 2, completely glossing over how deep and interesting it is.

@anomalousdugout9557 hey thanks for the video reveals a lot of things that are not clear before. tell me what do you think about when Skif met in a pod with a Strider on Orbit and he took up his neck when he was told that he was dead, because he could not know this and the imprint of his consciousness from a cartridge would not remember such a thing. you do not think that the tramp is alive and the fight with him was struck by an illusion from Faust, who burned just transmitted data through Kaimanov's office behind the screen when Skif was on Orbit. or just part of the session on Orbit was taken from Skif memoirs about the death of the Strider ???

Ok just realized that Stalker lore is dog s1t... Everything was damn ok until Shadow of Chernobyl. OG Monoliths should be OP, as the C-Con could tell them exactly where to shoot and where there enemies we're, but still one GOD DAMN RANDOM JOE SHMOE managed to clean up the whole ZONE and fk up everything. Not to mention how tf he knew where the C Con was...

Do you guys think the multiplayer mode will be a recreation of operation monolith, or will it come with the update that gives us faction wars, so we get duty vs freedom fights?
Or could we get both?
If limansk and the snow island are dlc, could the iron forest and the cnpp be the multiplayer maps?
Like battlefield, we get an operation firestorm exterior cnpp, an argon forest iron forest, and an operation locker in the cnpp interior

I have a working theory that Faust is Kaymanov's son (or clone) considering they have similar looking faces

Thank you for the video! I actually think that Alpha being in Skif’s home, his journey to the Zone, and every step along the way are all part of Faust’s plan.

Professor Lodochka takes a tragic turn later in the story. If you return after Faust is eliminated you can see the professor's bunker was attacked because of the monolithian bodies inside. The professor even turns hostile to Skiff, so either leave while he shoots at you or kill him too.

I think Faust wins no matter the ending. He could've had strider kill you and dalin in sircaa but didn't. When you talk to him on the Duga, you hear the psi effect sound, even with the "protection." He clearly didn't die on the Duga, but if he has the capability of walking through a small army with a psi disguise while having a conversation with you, theres no way he lost without him meaning too. He even smiles before his talk with you, like you passed his test and he can move forward with his next step. Biggest key to this is how long he was the doctor for. Was he the one who told strelok in his hideout about c con and his past?" Do you kill faust or doctor when you shoot him? The doctor is not a pacifist, as seen with strider, so he must've lost the 1v1 with faust during the emission. But why did the doctor choose to fight in an emmision with a monolithian? Were they friends or working together? Did he kill strider against his code to save his and faust's envoy? Ironic the guy who knows the zones lore and the guy who can mold it are never in the same room. What's worse is if he can look like the doctor, he could've been anyone at any time. By far, my favorite character in the game, and his last line says it best. "It's all just a matter of time."

Do you think it's possible that what Faust realized after the DUGA battle is that it's not the Monolith that's angry about his actions but the Zone itself? And what he's been trying to follow all this time was not the man-made psi machine with its cruel directions, but the Zone, which (by way of Skif and others screwing up his plans) has shown him that his ways are wrong (which then leads him toward Project Y). Sort of an awakening for him, which would tie well into everything that happens in the canon ending.

He probably uploaded the "mind catridges" of the Monolith Stalkers from the database onto the artifact. After that the x network jumped into action and activated every monlith sleeperagent.

“Psi” or “psy” is pronounced like “sky” without the “k” sound, and without the “p” sound. As in the first sound of “psycho” or “psychotic”

“Hazard” is pronounced with a hard “H” sound with the first A vowel being pronounced as the ä sound, like Hazmat, like the British pronounce H and the ä sound following it. HÄ-zard. The following “a” also sound more like an “e”. “HÄ-zerd”

I feel like based upon each of the three endings, no matter what you're controlled, even when you think you're making your own decisions for yourself. Almost like you're a C consciousness agent but not knowing it.

I wonder, have you noticed that in the Clear Sky Remastered, In Limansk when you find that secret room you get a Achievment "Relics of the past" confirming that it is a Time Mashine?

Theory: During the final speach on Duga Faust said he had angered the Monolith, so Skif came to punish him. Probably, it means that Faust decided that all stalkers desrve happines and the joy from the Monolith, but without approval of the Monolith itselft. Only chosen ones deserve to feel the joy from the Monolith, and as Faust made a decision on his own, Monolith punished him.

P.S. It seems that you already mentioned it in the video, so I wanted to confirm the truthfulness of this theory.

My thought has been that Faust was actually present at Clear Sky Base talking to Skif face to face, otherwise it wouldn't be possible for us to obtain his personal arm pistol Dead Eye, and by creating an induced illusion/teleport portal, he got away.

The contraption device seems to amplify psi-signals, which can either mean:
1. Enhancement of Brain Scorch Signal, as C-Con intended (Unlikely, by the line which Faust comment on C-Con and Monolith)
2. Supplement of Psi-Field to enlarge anomalous fields (Likely, as IPSF practiced in Skif's ending)
3. Supplement of Psi-Field to fulfill unknown purpose, maybe pulling all stalkers into the Subtle Matter?

Excellent video! As always. A very interesting detail you brought up was the possibility of Faust being created in a lab. This gave me the idea that he and Kaimanov might share a common past, since the Doctor was an important scientist for Project X. Because of that, I think it's possible that Faust may have incorporated the Doctor's philosophy into his own.

And here lies the key point—perhaps something you’ll even address in the next video—that Faust, with the return of the Monolith, ultimately thwarted Agatha/Project X’s original plan, which was the destruction of the Zone. Instead, they intended to use the Noosphere as a way to fulfill all of humanity's desires, turning them into slaves—happy slaves. His final line, to me, is the key to this: "For the adventure of life to continue, someone must embrace freedom. That is the gift of the Zone." In other words, for life to go on, the Zone had to appear, because the Zone was—and still is—what prevented the "Organization" (of which Agatha is a part) from completing its plans and, in a way, ending life as we know it—instead offering everyone a "perfect" life.

After all, isn’t that the motto of most contemporary revolutions in our time? "Happiness for all"?

This being my first stalker game I can certainly say the game absolutely does not hold the hand of new players ESPECIALLY when it comes to the story . I had to google half of the background information in order for the story to make sense besides the surface level stuff.

I was little bit confused after first playthrough. There was too much lore information to comprehend. All these experiments and connections. I welcome lore breakdowns like this one. I will make second playthrough after some new expansion.

Aside from that. Anyone else think they should add more guns to the game? More AK types like the AN-94 and more European weapons like the Scar-L and F2000. Maybe give us american guns like the M4, MK-18 and heck if they wanted to lean into more alt history kinda stuff, the ACR

I love these stalker lore videos. New to the series with stalker 2 being my first game and I enjoyed it so much but understood very little. These videos are a great help!

Stalker 2 is my first stalker sadly but man i love this story and setting it's really awesome the whole world of stalker 2 is better then literally any holywood movie ever xD

It should be noted that SKALA was a real program used in Chernobyl. It was created to observe and Monitor the Nuclear Reactors and output data to Operators. I imagine that it has a similar use here. Perhaps Block 5 is a hard node in the network and SKALA monitors that node or even monitors the Noosphere. Also, The Red Fortress is Occupied before the Monolithians are reinterred. I saw some hostile Noontiders and IPSF was in control of the Fortress itself.

Bro I was wondering, didn't you make a doctor video a long time ago where you concluded that Kaymanov was the doctor. I tried to search for it to see what evidence you had from before and compare it to what we got in stalker 2 but I may have just made that video up.
Anyway, I finishedy 3rd play though with scar and now that I know all 4 I think none of this makes sense, I am totally lost at some parts of the plot. Like if the representative is just a copy of what the person was (or perhaps the 7 scientists) and it's just an illusion like strelok says why is the representative acting differently if you side with spark. Are the illusions somehow stronger? Why? When you get to the foundation with strelok or scar , nothing changes, the same things occur on the map as action, just the name is different. Why is the representative more live-like with scar and does it start to generate holograms of dead people? I can get my head wrapped around the idea that surviving emissions is possible, other characters can do it as well, but at the generators that bridge that Richter creates. That is really weird. If its an illusion of some sort how does skif get across. If it's real it looks bizarre, like it's just a placeholder for some other effect. I don't know, all this going around in circles is making me hungry. I'll go get some fresh bread from Rostok. Good hunting, Stalker.
