I bought a set of those years ago when I was into British Colonial. you got some really nice things!

I love the shade and the lamp. As I get older I seem to drop or break so many things. Upsets me so. My car is full of stuff too my friend says I have the village people living in my car. We have a lot in common.

The white cherubs at the second to last store would have looked cute in the garden. If you removed the lighting parts from the cherub lamp you could add a large bowl to the top and turn it into a bird bath, maybe painting the base all one color. Lots of other garden cherubs in the last store. Mirrors in the garden scare me. As kids, we used to use mirrors to reflect the sun to burn twigs and bugs. I'm afraid I'd catch my garden on fire with a mirror in it. The floral lampshade would look look great on a crystal lamp.

A lot of ceramics are not made for outdoors. They freeze and Crack in cold temperatures .

I saw lots of things that could be repurposed for the garden. You have to think out of the box. For instance, those charcoal color lamps could be repurposed into garden statuary and there was a bowl that could make a planter if you put a cocoa fiber liner for just two.

I have two old doors hanging on my screened in porch acting as “weather breaks” to protect a solid wood bookcase/hutch from getting rained on and another protecting a chair so the cushions never get wet. They have six panes at the top so don’t block the view. The bookcase has been on the porch in rain, snow, etc. for about twenty years and is in perfect condition. They hang from the ceiling rafters with heavy chains and large eye hooks. I found both at the roadside! Free!

My motto is there is always room for another lamp. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m a sucker for a good lamp. It’s a sickness.

FYI you can take a lamp and take the cord out and put a cute bowl on top and make a birdbath, bird feeder and even add a solar light to have lighting outdoors. I got two lamps no shade that was from a neighbor for free. One I am going to use like a lamp post with solar lights. The other one I am going to find a cute bowl and make a bird bath and add a solar fountain pump so its also a fountain. Cute items you found. Thank you for sharing

I have the green lantern. When you add a candle, used a battery candle you will love it. The colors that come across the lanterns are just beautiful.

The beige piece you held up is for a cup and saucer. I have some. I painted them silver and displaced cups and saucers.💕

I have seen where people are making birdbaths using a pedestal and large bowl or a bowl turned upside down with a larger bowl on top. Both were pretty.

You remember cherub lamp you just bought. You remember that glass globe that had like window pains in it was a round ball globe. I think that might look good on the chair of lamp that you don’t know what kind of shade you’re gonna put on I love watching you design thingsyou’re a great girl.

We call something like that ** A Boot sale .. it is Amazing what people throw away ,no time ,no imagination .Trow away world ..I atarted Thrifting / recycling 1969. Still Making Beautuful things 56 + years later . , have done that in 3~ Countries ,sold ,the house with Great profits ,paid off my mortgage , before retirement …last week May 2025 turned my old BBQ ,to two Bird baths ,with cheap small solar power at £7 89 Small bubbly fountain .from Amazon .One in the morning where sun hits ,one in-the late afternoon .already have a man made one ,to the left of the front garden ,and to the Back A Throw away O,d fashion fountain ,we put together with Gold fish .Both Electric . .on timer …Have Made literally Thousands .The joy has been immense !! Stil watching USA + U.K. and other parts of the World Gardening .Read about in winter ,Put it into action in Spring. Put your feet up when it gets too hot for summer ..My wonderful world of Nature .love of my life .thank you for sharing ❤ Hugs 🤗 ..
