Man that's a big ass blue crab you got part of my friends you know what I mean fresh but that is actually used like the size I use to catch in Connecticut and I only caught it once or I'm definitely going to try your shrimp and crab soup I save that on my little thing that I have on my message unit I saved my recipes and I save a lot of yours I thank you very much Joyce for the recipes and I take you Sam too for the adventure and yes I do live in Florida so I'm definitely going to be finding out some spots I'll be more than happy to share them with you 😁👍🇺🇲💪✌️

That crab makes every other one look small

I don’t know salmon seems like those mangrove crabs are really huge save a lot of gas from using the boat how could you go wrong very nice thank you for showing us your experience

They like the chicken fat see if you can find a butcher in your area who cuts up chickens and ask for chicken backs and trimmings (fat then clean out of birds) then get net bag like they put kids sand toys in load the bag and scoop them up

Just subscribed. Great crabs! In another video I saw Joyce steaming the crabs with the back shell already off and everything clean. Great idea. I've always steamed them live. Did you have to put them on ice and settle them down b4 you removed the shell or is there a trick to it? And yes...never enough Old Bay. Use more! :)

Does anyone know the record size of a blue crab?

I absolutely love watching your videos. However, I hate when Joyce boils the crabs alive. It's not humane. I'm not a "save the crabs" type person, but I don't think that the animals we eat need to suffer. If you put the crabs on ice for 30 min to an hour, it puts them "asleep". You can drop them in the boiling water with no pain. A bag of ice is just a couple of bucks,
